As Fayza insists on having a divorce to escape the clutches of her controlling husband, her parents try to help her overcome her adversity. Meanwhile, Ahmed, a widower, wants to get married to a woman who would mother his children, but his children disapprove.
Fawaz and Hoda vow to drive any woman their father might marry away, for they don't want their father to take a new wife. Fayza has a mental breakdown when her father urges her to get back to her husband.
Abu Jamal suggests that Ahmed should hire a nanny for his children. Ahmed refuses to wed Hoda to Khalil. Fayza asks Dawud to help her get the job as Ahmed's kids' nanny, but he tells her Ahmed wants to hire a woman in her fifties.
Dawud tells Ahmed that he found him a nanny, but she can only work for specific hours per day. Fayza poses as an old woman called Abla Mounira (Mrs. Mounira) and meets Ahmed's children.
Abla Mounira starts her job and prepares for the kids' exams. Dawud is surprised when Ahmed visits the company and asks him to find him a cook.
Fayza suggests that Dawud should send their cook to Ahmed. Fayza buys gifts for the children in an attempt to get closer to them, but Fawaz won't let her get any close to them.
Abla Mounira asks Ahmed to spend more time with his children. Aisha is saddened to learn that Dawud wants to marry Fayza, while Aisha has feelings for him. Fawaz ruffles Abla Mounira's feathers to get her to quit.
Fawaz devises a plot to accuse Abla Mounira of stealing Hoda's diamond necklace, but his father learns of his scheme and apologizes to Abla Mounira. Abla Mounira promises Hoda to speak with her father about wedding her to her cousin.
Ahmed believes it's Abu Khalil (Khalil's father) who is inciting the kids against Abla Mounira. Bashir asks Hoda to teach him to read and write. When Ahmed falls ill, Abla Mounira nurses him back to health.
Fayza tells Dawud that Aisha loves him. Ahmed rejects his friend's proposal to marry Abla Mounira because of the age gap. When Fawaz goes to meet Abla Mounira to thank her, he learns that her real name is Fayza, and she is a young woman.
When Abla Mounira takes some time off, Ahmed searches for her, and Fawaz threatens to expose her to his father. Fayza's father wants her to quit her job.
Abu Khalil gets the children to reveal Abla Mounira's true identity to their father, and they report her to the police. Fayza says that she only pretended to be Abla Mounira because she truly loved the children and wanted to look after them.
Fayza's father wants her to travel to Egypt. Ahmed proposes to Fayza, and his children are glad about it. Dawud and Aisha get married.
