As Al-Nagy asks Mounir to give him the money that he took from his aunt, whom he lives with, he quarrels with Zainab, but Saber arrives to break up their fight. Zainab tries to encourage Saber as his financial difficulties get in the way of him continuing his education.
When Al-Nagy discovers that Hatab has a warehouse that contains animal food, he accuses him of being a thief and gets him arrested. Al-Sadek asks Khadija to get back together with him and let him see his daughter. Saber tells his uncle that he wants their region to be among the most beautiful lands.
Ibrahim dies in the hospital. As Saber asks his uncle, Al-Tohamy, to give back his father's land since he has no proof that he bought the land, his mother stands in his way; Al-Tohamy tries to get Saber to marry his daughter to keep him silent about the land. Saber quarrels with Al-Nagy.
Saber is saddened when he learns that his uncle wants him to marry Hamida in exchange for paying his college fees. Out of hatred for Zainab and Saber, Al-Nagy tries to harm them. Al-Sadek quarrels with his ex-wife as she starts working in the land and takes her daughter with her.
When Mahdy's truck burns down, he is unable to prove that Al-Sadek is behind what happened. When Saber decides to go to the capital to finish his studies, he tries to give Hamida back the money that he borrowed from her. Al-Nagy quarrels with his wife over his connection with someone she believes to be a conman.
When Al-Nagy decides to get revenge on Rahouma, he meets a guy at the coffee shop to provide information about his robberies. Rahouma's fiancée warns Al-Nagy's wife about her husband. Hamida tells Zainab that she is not in love with Saber. When Al-Tohamy asks for Zainab's hand for his son, Masoud refuses.
Zainab is saddened when Saber leaves for the capital, especially since they fought before his departure. Al-Nagy uses Al-Sadek to get close to the farmers, but Al-Sadek has only his own interest in mind.
When Saber returns after he finishes his studies, Zainab quarrels with him over his relationship with Hamida, as she gives him back his necklace. Al-Tohamy gets angry with his sister when Saber fails to propose to his daughter. Al-Sadek informs the villagers that Saber will sell his father's land.
When Zainab passes her exams and decides to complete her studies in the capital, Saber grows angry that she didn't consult him, but Zainab considers their relationship over. Al-Nagy's wife leaves the village, telling him that he must cut off ties with Rahouma to get her to return.
As Masoud agrees to let Zainab go to the capital, she runs into Al-Nagy and they get to talking. When Saber sees them, he mistakenly thinks that they are in a relationship. Al-Sadek sneaks into Al-Nagy's house to rob him. Al-Nagy's wife learns that her husband is doing illegal business with Rahouma.
As Zainab arrives in the capital, Saber sends her a letter to ask for her forgiveness. The ministry agrees to Saber's idea for the lake. Al-Nagy's wife returns to the village, but when she tries to get her husband to report the robbery to the police, he refuses.
Al-Nagy quarrels with his wife after she learns about his illegal business with Rahouma, leaving her to hide all the land deeds from him. Hatab asks for Khadija's hand in marriage. Al-Sadek loses his mind.
As Nadia leaves the house, Al-Nagy tries to come onto the maid, Aisha. As the villagers learn that he is going to divorce his wife, the news worries Saber who fears that Al-Nagy may marry Zainab. When the lake project succeeds, Zainab rejoices the news.
Al-Nagy enlists Al-Tohamy's help to get Masoud to agree to his marriage to Zainab. Saber grows angry when Masoud and Al-Nagy's relationship improves. Al-Tohamy decides to steal Al-Nagy's crops and frame Al-Sadek, but the latter reveals everything to Al-Nagy.
When Zainab returns to the village, she finds Saber angry with her father because of his friendship with Al-Nagy; Zainab promises to convince Masoud that Al-Nagy is not a good man. Rahouma gets imprisoned. Al-Nagy asks his wife to sell him a piece of land, but she refuses and asks him for a divorce.
When Al-Tohamy quarrels with Al-Nagy, the latter fires him, leaving him to plot revenge, especially since he thinks that Al-Nagy replaced him with Masoud so that he could wed Masoud's daughter, Zainab. Nadia discovers that Al-Sadek is the one who stole the golden jewelry.
As Masoud replaces Al-Tohamy in Al-Nagy's ranch, Saber tells Zainab about what her father did. The police force Al-Nagy to return his wife's lands to her, taking him with them to retrieve the missing bag.
When Zainab slaps Al-Nagy after he insults her and her father, Al-Nagy kidnaps her. Two boys help Zainab find her way home as everyone looks for her. Al-Nagy and his partners in crime are arrested and sent to prison. As Saber proposes to Zainab, Masoud blesses their union.
