Therese calls in during a talk show, but things only aggravate afterward. Meanwhile, she receives a visit from a man who wants to propose to her. Khadija and Harby discuss details about their marriage and the required preparations.
When she files a complaint against the man who attacked the monastery, Therese is questioned by the church officials. Harby's father agrees to his and Khadija's marriage.

The officials decide against building a bridge in the town. Meanwhile, quarrels reach a peak between the priest and the lawyer Mamdouh over the purchase of the land adjacent to the church, as it becomes clear the land will only stir sectarian strife between Muslims and Christians.
Khadija recounts to Harby the story of her parents' death, as told by Hassan and his wife. At the office of the Holy Light channel, a social researcher specializing in minorities' rights in the Middle East points to the director that the Christians of Egypt are subjected to persecution.
Mamdouh blames Therese for not telling the officer about the places that Sandra, the researcher, visited. Lam'ie gives Therese monatery aid for the monastery. Ayoub, Sheikh Mahmoud, and Abanoub head to the police department to discuss the bridge.
Ali reprimands Kamel for threatening Roshdy. Harby reproaches Khadija when she goes out with Taheya and Sabah. Nagy tells Therese that the channel will stop broadcasting due to financial difficulties. Roshdy reports Kamel's meeting to the police.
At Abdel Dayem's house, his wife and daughter tease Khadija for her inability to conceive a child yet. Therese has a disagreement with Nagy regarding the channel's approaches and the way they overemphasize sectarian strife. The quarrel ends on a tragic note for Therese as she's fired.
Khadija tries to get her sister-in-law closer to the guy she loves. Meanwhile, Khadija's own marriage starts to crumble as she cannot fall pregnant.
Harby lies to Abdel Dayem and claims that Khadija is the one with reproductive problems. Abdel Dayem suspects that it's either Mamdouh Fawzy or Suleiman Tekla behind the fire. Tawfik thinks of a way to incite the people against one another. Abdel Dayem sues Therese. Hamed buys the church land.
Khadija tells Abdel Dayem that Harby is the one who has reproductive problems. Zaghloul tells Abdel Dayem he heard Morsy and Suleiman discussing a fire. The people of the village call Presenter Amr Ellissy to publicly discuss the bridge issue. Harby beats Hana for meating Khaled.
Roshdy reports Kamel to the State Security and informs them of Khaled's escape after he was filmed with Hana. Lam'ie is upset that Therese wants the organization to serve Christians only. A sniper shoots Ramadan and Suleiman among others in the clash between Muslims and Christians.
Sultan is reprimanded by his boss when four of their team are murdered. Harby, Kamel, and two members of the latter's gang are arrested. Tawfik vows revenge on Ramadan's murderers. Safaa is grief-stricken. Hassan senses that Harby's family has changed the way they treat Khadija.
One of the detainees confesses that Harby wasn't with them during the attack, and it was Kamal, the head of the group, who gave orders. Kamal testifies that Harby is the head of the terrorist group. Lam'ie is mad when Therese mentions leaving for America. Abdel Dayem refuses to let Khadija travel.
Meseilhy urges Therese to stay away from Muslims. Tawfik tells Abdel Dayem that he asked Hamed to disappear. Harby is released and chosen as the head of the group. He gives orders to have Khadija transport a bomb to Cairo. The group breaks Kamel out of the hospital. Basilious and Abanoub are arrested.
Therese tells Ibram that Mariam distributes missionary magazines to the Muslims who visit the organization. Salah threatens Khadija to get her to give him money. Abdel Dayem kicks both Mahmoud and Ali out. Harby confronts Khadija and tells her she is not Hassan's daughter.
Khadija runs away when the police learn that there was a bomb inside her bag. Officer Hazem is sent to arrest Khadija. The investigations reveal that Harby is behind the bombing. Meanwhile, the police believe it was Khadija who took part in the Christians' demonstrations in the church.
Sayeda's husband reports Khadija to the police for being a terrorist. The State Security arrest Therese, while Sultan finds Hamed. The head of the State Security suggets sending Therese to impersonate Khadija, in an attempt to learn where the other bombs are. Kamel flees.
Therese and Khadija find out that they were born on the same day. Hamed confesses that Tawfik forged the contract. Therese starts with the plan to impersonate Khadija to find out information from Harby, who tells her he's coming home. Khadija impersonates Therese in the church.
Posing as Khadija, Therese returns to Harby's house. Meanwhile, Khadija poses as Therese at the church. The terrorist group gives orders to have Kamel murdered. When Harby returns home, Therese asks him about the bomb he left in the bag.
Hana suspects Khadija, while Lam'ie and his wife suspect Therese. Harby learns that the woman at his house is Therese, while Edward sees Therese (Khadija in disguise) reading the Quran.
Khadija comes clean to Ibram and Fifi when they see her praying. Harby and his men find the real Khadija. The State Security arrest Tawfik. Kamal is murdered as he blows the whistle on the terrorist group. Harby is murdered.
