Wasima asks Mazen to pay the house expenses. Sarmin returns from abroad, sees Mazen in the port, and is surprised that he married Wasima. After Mazen borrows money from Sarmin, Mazen's daughter, Darren, finds Sarmin murdered, whereupon she suspects her father, whom she hides from the police.
Darren hides her father in a safe place, and he denies killing Sarmin. She becomes a lawyer after graduating and works in a law firm. She denies knowing Mazen when she is asked about him, while the police watch her to reach her father. Yamen likes Darren and asks his sister to help them get closer.
Yamen tells Darren that he is related to Sarmin. As Wasima asks the investigator not to disturb her, he asks Darren about her relationship with Ghada and Yamen, warns her not to hide the location of her fugitive father, accuses her of helping him commit the crime, and continues to watch her.
The investigator tightens surveillance on Darren and her mother. As Yamen reaches where Mazen is, Mazen asks for his help in proving his innocence. The investigator arrives at Mazen's place but does not find him. Yamen hides Mazen in a new place and tells Darren that he is hiding her father.
Darren asks her father to turn himself in and the lawyer Maher will defend him, but he refuses before meeting Maher. Yamen calms Darren's anger and tells her that he likes her, while she is unable to confront the prosecution in the case. The investigator asks Yamen about Mazen's whereabouts.
Ghada kicks Darren out of her home. Sami, Sarmin's brother, asks Ghada for money, but she refuses because he used to insult Sarmin. The investigator searches Darren's house and does not find Mazen, who is hiding in Yamen's farm and is surprised by Thabit's arrival.
As Darren makes sure that her father is innocent of the murder, she asks Yamen to meet her father, but the police watch them. As Mazen flees from the farm, the police look for him. Thabit tells Darren that he informed on Mazen and blackmails her, but she threatens him. Yamen gets arrested.
The investigator arrests Mazen in Darren's house, but he insists that he's innocent, while Darren insists on defending him. Yamen rules out that Thabit is the killer, but Darren believes he is. When Darren asks Sana about Thabit, she tells her that he now owns a cafe, so where did he get the money?
Thabit escapes as the investigator chases him, but Darren follows him. He gets arrested after admitting that he only robbed Sarmin and didn't kill her. The investigator arrests the jeweler whom Darren asked that she purchase Sarmin's necklace which Thabit sold to him.
As the investigator arrests Darren on charges of helping her father kill Sarmin, Darren tells him that Sana has information which she's hiding. He interrogates Sana and asks her about Sarmin's ring, but she denies knowing about it, after which he discovers that Sana stole the ring along with Thabit.
As an unknown person breaks into Darren's apartment and steals proof against Sarmin's killer, she suspects it was Sami. While Darren defends her father's cellmate who's unjustly accused of murder, the real killer gets arrested. Darren tries to press murder charges against Sami.
The investigator tries to find evidence to prove that Sami committed the crime. The gardener at Sarmin's villa tells the investigator that he saw Sami rushing out on the night of the crime. Yamen is interrogated in court. The investigator analyzes the unknown fingerprints to uncover the culprit.
Darren discovers that Yamen is the killer. As the investigator interrogates him, he confesses that the unknown fingerprints are his and that he accidentally killed Sarmin. Mazen is released from jail. As Yamen asks Darren to defend him, she agrees, and his sentence is reduced since it's manslaughter.
