As Faraj, the company's director, becomes attached to his secretary, Souad, his friend Mahjoub warns him about the age difference between them, while Faten tries to convince her fiancé, Ahmed, to accept a government job so that they can get married.

Souad hires Ahmed at the company based on Faten's wishes. Faraj confesses his love to Souad, and his wife Hessa feels that he's distant from her.

Souad tries to get closer to Ahmed, while Faten suspects them. Mahjoub tries to convince Faraj not to pursue his personal whims in his relationship with Souad.

Rashid warns his friend Ahmed about Souad, and suspects the reason for her closeness to him. An anonymous letter is sent to Faraj stating that there is a relationship between Souad and Ahmed.

Souad asks Ahmed not to meet her so that no one will suspect that there’s a relationship between them, and Faraj decides to marry Souad.

Faten breaks off her engagement to Ahmed and confronts Souad about their relationship. Faraj informs Souad of his retirement from work and asks her to travel with him.

Faten tells Faraj's daughter about her father's relationship with Souad. Faraj informs Hessa of his decision to marry Souad and is surprised by her approval and blessing of the marriage.

As Ahmed asks Souad to leave work and stay away from Faraj, he is forced to resign from the company after being transferred to another branch.

Ahmed threatens Souad with revenge after she left him in preparation for her marriage to Faraj, and Ibtisam agrees with Ahmed to use Souad’s love letters to him against her.

Hessa tries to prevent her daughter Ibtisam from revealing the truth about Souad to her father so as not to shock him, and Rashid confesses his love to Faten.

Souad has fun with her friends while leaving Faraj alone, and Ahmed returns and threatens Souad again with exposing their previous relationship.

Hessa asks to buy from Ahmed Souad’s love letters to him, and burns them so that they do not reach Faraj. Mahjoub tells Hessa that Faraj is ill.

Souad objects to Hessa visiting Faraj at her home, and Ahmed tells Rashid that he likes Ibtisam and wants to be with her.

As Ahmed officially proposes to Ibtisam, Hessa initially agrees, while Souad incites Faraj against Ahmed and convinces him not to agree to the marriage.

Souad is angry at Ahmed because of his desire to marry Ibtisam, and agrees with him to ask for a divorce from Faraj in exchange for returning to him, but Ahmed abandons her after her divorce and marries Ibtisam, and Faraj returns to Hessa.
