Mayor Zakria confronts a group of thieves who wanted to steal his land. A group of investors plans to buy land in the village and they discover that Zakria is the one who has control. Dr. Seham remembers what her mother went through when the Mayor and his wife kicked her out.

Zakria's mother refuses to allow him to sell the land. Nabil's mother opposes his engagement to Seham. Abed tells Dahab that the only way to get the land back is to give Seham its price. Hagag doesn't love the Mayor's daughter, Fotna, despite being engaged to her.

Seham applies for a leave from the hospital to travel to Upper Egypt to claim her land. Zidan asks Mayor Zakria to steal his mother's seal and sell the land.

Kamala wants Dahab to find a bride for Zakria. Zakria asks Sheikh Abed to persuade his father to sell the land. Zidan gives Zakria a large sum of money till the land is sold and makes him sign a trust receipt.

The guard Sibai takes Zakria with him to spend an evening with Nawaeim. Dahab plans to make Zakria marry Zeenat. Seham goes to the village in Luxor and meets Sheikh Abed.

Abed tells Seham that Zakria doesn't know that the land doesn't belong to his mother. Seham goes to meet Rawayih, Taya's mother.

Sheikh Abed tells Hagag the story of Khawatir and her daughter Seham. The investor meets Zakria and urges him to quickly sell the land to him.

Hagag asks his father to postpone his marriage to Fotna as he starts falling for Seham. Zakria signs a receipt for the price of the land that he got from the investor until he signs the sale contracts.

Hagag has a fever and Seham treats him. Seham tells Rawayih about her ownership of the land and that she is determined to take it back.

Sheikh Abed tells Zakria and the mayor the story of the land. Zakria is enraged and is determined to have the land. Abed gives the papers of the land ownership to Seham.

The mayor is shocked when he learns that Khawatir passed away. Dahab is thrown out of her house. Hagag evades Fotna.

Hagag tells Taya that he loves Seham. Zidan is shocked when he learns that Seham owns the land.

Zakaria asks Zidan to tell the investors that the land belongs to Seham. Zeenat's uncle decides to make her marry his son. Zakria and Walid argue after he accused him of defrauding him.

Zakria gives the money he got for the land to Zidan. Officer Serag tries to calm things down between Zakria and Walid.

Hagag refuses to marry Fotna. Zeenat marries Hegazy against her will. Seham refuses to sell the land to Walid. Hagag proposes to Seham.

Hagag clashes with Zakria and confesses his love for Seham in front of everyone. Serag arrests Zidan and Hajjar whom he suspects of plotting something. Kahlawi steals the selling papers and assaults Seham.

Zakria is released after he is proven innocent of the crime of stealing the contract. Seham returns to Alexandria. Zidan denies having anything to do with the theft of the land's contract.

Kahlawi seduces Nawaeim and refuses to give her the contract he stole. Seham throws Hagag out of the hospital and he gets hit by a car.

Hagag enters the intensive care unit and Nagwa informs his family. Zidan tells Zakria to go through with selling the land now that the contract is missing.

Nawaeim looks for Zakaria to seek help from Kahlawi, and she finds him traveling. Zakria finds out that Seham paid Hagag's hospital bills.

Zakria accuses Seham of being in a relationship with Hagag and she accuses him of stealing the land's contract. Serag searches Kahlawi's shed but finds nothing.

The chief of security puts Colonel Adel in charge of the case when officer Serag can't find the thief. The mayor slips into a coma and calls for Khawatir and Zakria in his sleep.

The mayor's condition improves. Seham's car is wrecked and she accuses the building owner who wants to evict her. Adel asks Zakria to return the land's contract and Zakria rejects his way.

Zakria slaps Nawaeim after he learns that she got Kahlawi to steal the contract. Zakria finds the contract at Kahlawi's shed. Kahlawi stabs Nawaeim.

Nawaeim dies at the hospital and Kahlawi is arrested. Zakria gives the contract to Seham. Serag wants to search Zakria's house.

Serag and Adel search the mayor's house and find nothing. The mayor's condition worsens. Hagag goes to Alexandria to remove his cast and Seham refuses to see him.

Zakria returns to the village and tells his father that he gave the contract to Seham. Officer Adel arrests Zakria.

Seham confesses to Nagwa that she loves Zakria. Seham returns to the village and testifies for Zakria who gets acquitted of all charges. Zakria returns the check to Walid.

Seham decides not to sell the land and returns to Alexandria. Zidan sends Hajjar to kill Zakria. Zakria gets shot and Seham saves his life. Seham decides to escape from Zakria's love because the past will always come between them. She returns the contract to him and he decides not to sell the land.
