The enraged Queen gives orders to have Mas'oud beheaded and have his head hanged in the public square, accusing him of being a spy who uses sorcery to ruin the kingdom. Meanwhile, Mas'oud's wife is worried since he hasn't returned home yet.
The Queen softens and asks Mas'oud about his home country; he mentions Algeria, a modern country way advanced in comparison to her kingdom. Beliving he is belittling her reign, she has him imprisoned. When the Queen's sheep gets sick, Mas'oud is called upon to save it.
The joyous Queen invites Mas'oud to lunch with her when her sheep gets better. As Mas'oud makes an Algerian dessert, everyone inside the palace likes it. A message from the Serpent Queen reaches the Queen, and Mas'oud tells them they must have a spy in their midst.

The magic bottle explodes in the face of the Serpent Queen and disfigures her face. Molly tells Hidora that Babisha is a traitor, and that she also married Bo Zolouf. The Queen's grief is impenetrable that Mas'oud cannot tell her the truth.
