The trainee wizard Alex Russo decides to take a break from her wizard class and go shopping with her friend Harper, but her plan to trick her parents backfires.

When Justin Russo messes up his first kiss with a girl, Alex uses a spell to go back in time to help him get it right. Meanwhile, Max Russo is having trouble competing for the official sandwich of the New York Mets.

In order to pass her Spanish test, Alex uses the help of a pocket elf, and Justin and Max try to sabotage her date by using the pocket elf.

Alex uses her magic spell to transform Harper into a great waitress, but her plan backfires when Harper becomes an extreme workaholic. Justin and Frankie butt heads when Justin starts giving tutoring lessons, which enrages Frankie.

When Alex meets a fellow wizard who uses his spells to get his parents to let him use his magic whenever he pleases, Alex gets a chance to do the same trick on her parents.

Alex asks her dad to teach her how to fly a magic carpet, but when the lessons don't go smoothly, she asks for Justin's help.

Alex must use her powers to save Harper from an embarrassing situation when they get invited to a tea party by Gigi. Justin and Max get into trouble when they do a prank with the Wizard Mail.

When Alex gets Justin a dragon disguised as a dog, things spiral out of control when the dragon-dog is stolen and they have to get it back from a dog show.

As Alex wants to hang out with Justin's cool friends, she ends up going to a horror movie where things get out of control, and Justin jumps to her rescue.

Alex's magic spell to help Justin with his zit backfires, as he faces trouble with it during the school dance. She tries to reverse the spell by using her father's trophy.

When Alex uses a love potion to get a classmate to like her, things go terribly wrong, while Justin is competing at the World School Summit at the U.N.

When Alex makes a wish with a Genie that she wouldn't be compared to her brother Justin, the wish backfires when it causes everyone to forget who Justin is.

Alex's parents send her and Justin to a summer wizard school, where she stumbles upon an evil plot. Max and Jerry try to prove their manhood to Theresa by camping out on the terrace.

At the wizard school, Alex uses her magic spells to save Justin from Dr. Evilini who's trying to drain his powers. Back home, a woman advertises a competing restaurant to the Waverly Sub Station.

In order to impress a girl, Justin uses his powers to join the school's baseball team, while Alex takes advantage of the situation to impress a boy.

When Alex's uncle Kelbo comes for a visit, Alex asks him to be her teacher, but things spiral out of control when he puts them in danger, while Jerry reveals a surprising secret.

When Alex gets her disappointing wizard report card, her attempts to keep her parents from seeing it backfire. Max and Justin help her fix the situation and she learns an important lesson in the process.

When Alex takes an internship with a fashion magazine, she decides to take revenge when her employer steals her ideas. Justin's plans to impress a girl go awry.

In an attempt to make Riley jealous, Alex brings a mannequin to life and pretends to be in a relationship with him, but things take an unexpected turn when the mannequin develops feelings for her.

As Alex turns 15, her family plans a party to celebrate the occasion, but when Theresa becomes too obsessed with planning the event, Alex switches bodies with her.

In order to get a high grade for her art history paper, Alex decides to take a short cut by bringing famous paintings to life to get the information she needs from them. Jerry and Max run into trouble when they play football in the house.
