Ahmed Abdel-Gawad returns to staying out late and his wife Amina is worried. His son Yassin tries to get custody of his son, while Kamal is in love with Ayida. Ahmed wants his son Kamal to go to Law School.

The father of Yassin's ex-wife tells him that his daughter will get married and he accepts. Ahmed tries to get close to Zanuba and Yassin is thinking of getting married.

Khadija fights with her mother-in-law and when her father finds out, he makes her go home with him as a punishment. Kamal tells Fouad that he loves Ayida.

Zanouba runs away with Ahmed and he gives her the keys to his boat. She asks him to marry her if he wants to have a relationship with her. Yassin asks his father to marry Maryam but he disapproves. When Amina finds out she tells him that Maryam betrayed his late brother.

Ahmed goes to Maryam’s mother and asks her not to tell Yassin about what happened between them in the past. Zanouba goes to her old house to tell them that she's getting married.

Yassin marries Maryam, but she discovers that he doesn't love her. Amina finds out that Khadija visits Yassin and Maryam in The Palace of Desire, and she stops talking to her.

Zanuba's plan to marry Ahmed fails as he rejects the idea completely. Yassin wants to get rid of Maryam.

Yassin starts seeing Zanuba and she tells him if he loves her, he should marry her.

Kamal finds out that his feelings for Ayida are mutual, but Hassan warns him from her and claims that she's not suitable for him.

Ahmed asks Yassin to end his marriage with Maryam. Zanuba finds out that Yassin is Ahmed's son. Kamal notices that Ayida has completely changed with him.

Saad Zaghloul's alliance with Mahmoud Pasha causes the indignation of the people. Zanuba finds out that Ahmed returned to Sultana and she deceives him into thinking that she got married.

Yassin and Zanuba get married and they move into The Palace of Desire. Ahmed finds out and asks Yassin to divorce her, but he refuses.

Kamal succeeds in proving his innocence to Ayida. Kamal resumes his nightlife and Zanuba feels bored. Kamal finds out that Ayida got engaged.

Kamal feels that Ayida betrayed him. Ahmed asks Kamal to stop writing his articles. Saad Zaghloul dies, and this has unmeasurable impacts on people; namely, on Kamal who decides to follow in Zaghloul's footsteps.

Ahmed returns to seeing Sultana. Saad Zaghloul dies and it affects everyone and Kamal decides to carry on Saad's will.
