Rashid fights against the French occupation, and his sister Ola informs him that Zakaria has given birth to a son. Najla refuses to let Zakaria and his family see the child. Najla tells Ola that the child is not Zakaria’s son but the son of Commander Terry. Ola refuses to help Najla smuggle the child.

Najla is afraid that her son will be killed, so she runs to Terry, but the soldiers shoot her and the child dies, so Terry arrests Ola and charges her with crime for not helping Najla.

The Colonel stays up late at a nightclub where Shams works as a dancer. Journalist Abdel Qader joins the revolutionaries. Omar leaves the French military and joins the revolutionaries because he is sad that the French killed his uncle.

Ola sends a message to Rashid with Shams, stating that Omar has joined the rebels. Zakaria takes Najla to the hostel of Bab Idriss without his family’s knowledge. For the first time, Najla confesses her love to Zakaria.

Rashid takes Ola to meet Omar and confirm his desire to join the revolutionaries. The Colonel orders to bring Shams by force and tells her that he knows that Rashid is alive and that she is a spy, and he locks her in his house.

A sudden attack by the French on Rashid and the rebels, along with Omar, in the mountain takes place. The two sides exchange fire, and Abdul Qader dies. Omar is arrested, but his French friend helps him escape.

Zakaria quarrels with Hind and divorces her because she gave his daughter Hala to Najla. He searches for his daughter. Najla is hospitalized and her daughter is placed in an orphanage. Rashid leads a demonstration demanding independence after the decision to arrest the Lebanese president and ministers.

Demonstrations take place to demand the end of the French occupation. The revolutionaries kill Shams. The French government declares the independence of Lebanon. Zakaria finds Hala, his daughter, in the orphanage, and Badriya returns with her son, and her family rejoices.
