"Reklam"…. A new genre of movies

The only challenge that faces any written is the way of presenting a re raised "Subject" from his point of view and giving it a new phenomena. The cast of "Reklam" movie has totally made the contraire. The movie talks about the downgrading of four honorable women who transferred into prostitutes. A story which was presented dozen of times before and which the script writer Mostafa El Sobky has superficially dealt with. He even didn't give us a dramatic justification for their deterioration: The...Read more first heroine has bankrupted and decided to buy herself to men in order s to spend on her self. The second one who used to struggle in life and work hard as a sales woman, she gave up easily for money. The third girl works as a dancer while the last is a well raised daughter of a Millionaire and she downgrades for a no obvious reason. The only point of strength was exposing this undiscovered underground world with no Smallness or vulgarity which ends in a very usual and traditional way similar to children stories where the criminal gets punished. This childish story is applied on our four characters as following: The first one loses her child, the other loses her finance the third loses her money. They all go to prison in a unreal naïve events. The films rhythm is very slow showing some unimportant repeated scenes like: Sky, Train, and Sea. Talking about actors: Ghada AbdelRazik was shining in unexpected was of acting in addition to Rania Yoiusef who represented her character in a creative unique manner. On the other hand we stand watching the failure of the new actors which reflects the failure of the film director. "Reklam" has exposed a very sensitive issue without giving it the proper importance and the necessary depth. They presented for the hungry audience a meal with no salt and no taste.
