The Hajja tells Abu Jomaa that she wants to wed his daughter to the Hajj, getting both his and Khadija's approval. Fearing that Khadija could give the Hajj a son to inherit all his fortune, Fatima asks Hamad to propose to Khadija before she could marry the Hajj.

When the Hajj goes back on his decision to wed Khadija, the latter grows mad and leaves the house. The Hajj marries Najat despite her disapproval of the match, but as the Hajj treats her well and gifts her gold jewelry, Najat's mother tries to convince her that she will have a good life with him.

When Hamad gets in an accident, the Hajja and Abu Jomaa visit him at the hospital, as does the Hajj. When Najat tells Fatima that her son is in love with Khadija, Fatima remains insistent that Khadija is not suited for him due to her strong character. The Hajj talks to his lawyer about his property.

When Radwan proposes to his colleague Jamila, she questions him about his relationship with Najat. Hamad manages to restore the ranch to its former glory. Abu Jomaa goes back to being a humble worker. As Mostafa returns from France, he makes a deal with Hajj Abu Azza to work with him at the tannery.
