Al-Mokhtar is a married man with three daughters. As he retires and gets his severance package, he returns home where he gets overwhelmed by the long lists of requests his daughters have prepared for him, especially Nesrine. His wife Latifa tries to comfort and console him.
As Seham applies for a telecommunications company, she gets sick while in the elevator and a resident from the building helps her. Her mother refuses to give away her friend who performs illegal abortions. Hanan meets the girls to instruct them on how to lie, much to Al-Mokhtar's disapproval.
As the girls pack for their vacation, their father reprimands Nesrine for bringing more clothes than is necessary. He flirts with his wife Latifa and then asks Ali to bring his car, which is their ride to Casablanca.
Al-Mokhtar and his family go to the beach, but they soon return after a quarrel between him and Latifa. Nesrine's boyfriend throws a stone at her window at night, and Al-Mokhtar grows suspicious. In the morning, the family leaves behind Nesrine, who feigns illness just to meet Youssef in secret.
Al-Mokhtar takes his wife and daughter shopping, while Nesrine seizes the chance to see her boyfriend. As she rides with her boyfriend on the motorcycle, Nesrine's father sees her on their way back.
Al-Mokhtar and his family return home after seeing Nesrine with her boyfriend. As Seham goes to the company, the manager admires her and gives her a job. The family of Nesrine's boyfriend visits Al-Mokhtar to ask for Nesrine's hand in marriage.
At Latifa's exhortations, Al-Mokhtar meets Youssef's family, and upon seeing how good of a man his father is, he approves their engagement. When the women go to pick a wedding ring, Nesrine dislikes the one her future mother-in-law chooses and feels that she's trying to impose her will on her.
Nesrine's father refuses to let her go out with Youssef alone, so he goes out with them and he gets fatigued. Hanan feels jealous that Nesrine got engaged to a rich man.
Despite Youssef's mother's initial rejection, the two families agree to throw the engagement party at Al-Mokhtar's house. Thoraya's manager tries to get closer to her, but when she recalls how her father's friend harassed her when she was but a child, she feels scared and fragile.
The engagement party is held at Al-Mokhtar's house. When Nesrine stays out late, she and Amal quarrel. Nesrine beats Amal who falls unconscious.
As Amal is rushed to the hospital, her father sticks by her side to care for her. Youssef tries to mend his relationship with Latifa.
Al-Mokhtar agrees to Youssef and Nesrine's marriage, but delays their wedding until her sisters get engaged. When Thoraya's manager sees her talking to a colleague, he gets jealous, and Thoraya takes notice.
Mahdy, Al-Mokhtar's boss, visits him to apologize for shouting at him. Youssef encourages his friends to propose to Nesrine's sisters to get Al-Mokhtar to let him wed Nesrine.
Al-Mokhtar admonishes Amal when she chats with their neighbor whom he warned her against talking to. Al-Mokhtar visits his boss while the former's daughter, Thoraya, is there, but she manages to hide.
Thoraya gets mad at her mother for asking a colleague of Thoraya's to marry her. As Thoraya visits her colleague, she learns that his mother is wheelchair-bound.
When Sofian proposes to Amal, she tells him she is ill, but he insists on getting engaged to her. At work, Thoraya's colleague asks her why she is keeping her distance from him.
Al-Mokhtar opposes Sofian's engagement to Amal since Sofian does not own a house. Hanan accuses Amal of stealing money from her safe.
In defiance of Amal's father, Amal and Sofian look for an apartment to rent. Thoraya grows infatuated with Omar.
Ali quarrels with his daughter Hanan when he learns she stole the money. Hanan leaves the house. Thoraya's manager pulls out all the stops to get close to her.
Amal celebrates her engagement. As Yasin tries to rape Thoraya, she hits him with a sharp object and escapes.
Omar goes to Thoraya's house and introduces himself as a policeman. Thoraya runs away. Al-Mokhtar's manager asks for Thoraya's hand in marriage, but he changes his mind after learning about the recent incident.
As Thoraya tries to shake off the shock, Omar promises to investigate Thoraya's case and tells her that he knows that Yasin was always trying to come onto her. Thoraya tries to process that Omar is a policeman, as he promises to prove her innocence and confesses his love for her.
The witnesses testify against Thoraya. Nesrine breaks up with Youssef, whose concern over his reputation leads him to abandon her.
Latifa's neighbor offers to hire people to testify against Yasin, but Latifa dismisses the idea. Yasin's wife testifies for Thoraya to get her acquitted.
To prove Thoraya's innocence, Yasin's wife submits a CD that contains all the recordings of Yasin luring in various girls.
Thoraya is released from prison, and Omar proposes to her, but her father rejects him. Sofian and Youssef want to wed Amal and Nesrine.
Hanan and Mahdy return to Khanatha's house after they encounter problems. Azouz's abuse of Thoraya and Hanan when they were children is about to be exposed. Latifa tries to convince Al-Mokhtar to approve of Omar and Thoraya's marriage.
Al-Mokhtar visits Latifa in prison to comfort her. Meanwhile, an infuriated Ali threatens Al-Mokhtar to kill one of his daughters in retaliation, since Al-Mokhtar's wife killed Ali's wife, Hanan.
Omar takes Thoraya to visit her mother in prison. Youssef and Sofian meet Khalil and urge him to confess the truth to acquit Latifa, but Khalil grows wroth and stabs Youssef.
The injured Youssef is rushed to the hospital. Omar arrests Khalil, who confesses to the murder. Al-Mokhtar visits Latifa in prison, and she's eventually acquitted.
