As Diab prepares for his wedding, Shahinda's brothers are thrilled as her own wedding day approaches. Moataz's brother is upset that their father is helping Moataz financially and spoiling him.

Diab's bride Hekmat tells him that she won't consummate the marriage till he gets her inheritance back from her uncle who stole it. Hossam tries to recruit Taher to spy on the Dashashna family.

Taher spies on Mansour and informs Hossam of the detail of his arms smuggling operation. Diab informs Hekmat that he is involved in his father's illegal work. As Mohamed defends a girl called Reham, he starts falling for her after he is transferred to the hospital for minor injuries.

Hossam prepares for his own wedding. Mohamed proposes to Reham. Hossam admonishes Taher for not telling him about Diab's trip that took him from Dubai to Turkey to Croatia.

Diab fights with his brother Gaber and forces his wife to apologize to Hekmat. As Hekmat asks him to find her brother a job, Diab tries to get her uncle to give back her rightful inheritance. Diab and Gaber's smuggling operation is interrupted by a police raid. Gaber is killed and Diab gets arrested.

Diab's father Mansour is charged with arms trade but he denies the charge. As Diab is sentenced to death, Mansour vows revenge on those who harmed his sons. Hossam gets promoted. Eman discovers that her brother Omar has married a dancer.

Hekmat's uncle asks her to leave with him after her husband's arrest, but she refuses. Diab manages to break out of prison. Taher learns about Diab's escape but decides not to tell Hossam who is on his honeymoon. As Salma informs Hossam of her pregnancy, they are attacked and Salma is murdered.

Salma's mother refuses to accept condolences from Hossam's mother. Hossam insists on staying in his apartment despite Shahinda's attempts to convince him to return to the family home. Hossam feels guilty that he couldn't save Salma and vows revenge.

As Hossam threatens Taher to force him to help him find Diab and Mansour, he arrests Mansour but accidentally pushes his friend Moataz off the mountain in the process. Mounir convinces Lola to move into Omar's house. Omar is forced to agree after she threatens him with divorce and alimony money.

Tension rises between Shahinda and Saher who blames her family for Salma's murder. Diab vows revenge after Hossam kills Mansour. He agrees with his men to claim that Hossam was aiding and abetting Mansour and that he killed him after a disagreement over money. Taher plants money in Hossam's house.

As Mohamed celebrates his engagement, Hossam is arrested on bribery charges and sentenced to 3 years. Moataz's father asks Eman to move in with him along with her daughter. Salma's mother continues to reprimand Shahinda and blame Hossam for Salma's murder.

Hossam gets in a fight with two inmates who discover that he is a police officer. Hekmat asks for her uncle's help to stop Nagiba's brother from taking control of the house. Hekmat has a son that she names Mansour.

Hossam is thrown in solitary confinement for 3 months after Welaa frames him for distributing hallucinogens to the prisoners. As Shahinda gives birth, Saher tries to convince her to take him back. When she refuses, her mother-in-law threatens her.

Hossam survives a murder attempt. Mounir opposes his father's wish to write 1/3 of the inheritance over to Eman and her son. As they fight, Mounir's father has a heart attack and dies. Eman gets shocked when Mounir refuses to give her anything.

Hossam advises Mohamed to look for Taher. Mohamed asks Taher to inform him of the details of the arms deal.

After his release, Hossam grows upset that his siblings are the ones taking care of the house. Hekmat thinks that Diab has died until Taher takes her to see Diab who asks her to use his death certificate to get his money from abroad.

Hossam is unable to find a job. Abu Shama tries to kill Hossam. Eman finds a suitable place for her project. Mounir decides to sell his share of the shop to his partner. Hekmat travels abroad to get Diab's money.

Hossam is released when his murder of Abu Shama is ruled as self-defense. Hossam's prison friends look for him. Taher discovers that the money he hid in the barn has gone missing.

Taher opens a new company and asks Hossam to work with him. Hossam and Diab plot to take revenge on each other. Saher manages to gain custody of Shahinda's son. Mohamed marries Reham without inviting Hossam to the wedding.

Taher tries to get close to Shahinda and promises to get her son back to her. Hekmat is upset that Diab refuses to quit trading arms. She asks him to kill Hossam to avenge her brother and his. Hossam and Eman grow close.

Hossam partners up with Taher and Diab. When Hekmat reprimands Diab for working with Hossam, he informs her that it's a plot so that he could exact his vengeance. Shahinda continues to look for her son.

When Diab tries to teach his son how to shoot, Hekmat asks him to leave Mansour out of his plots. Hossam tells Taher that he is starting his own company. Taher brings Shahinda's son back and proposes to her.

Eman proposes to Hossam, much to Mohamed's displeasure. Alber asks Hossam to come to Croatia so they can agree on freezing Diab out of the business. Taher decides to run for Parliament.

Hossam marries Eman. Shahinda agrees to marry Taher despite Hossam and her mother's objections. The feud between Hossam and Diab is revived, especially after Mansour is killed. Mounir threatens to sue Eman for her daughter's custody.

Taher marries Shahinda against Hossam's wishes. Hossam and Taher plot to tell Hekmat that Diab is seeing someone else. When Hossam is nearly arrested during a smuggling operation, he suspects that Diab is the one behind it.

When Hekmat tries to leave the house after a fight with Diab, his attempt to stop her results in her falling down the stairs and miscarrying. Mounir apologizes to Eman and promises not to bother her or her daughter. Mohamed and Reham reconcile.

Alber decides to get rid of Diab after he learns that he is the one who turned Hossam in. Diab kidnaps and tortures Taher when he discovers that he is working for Hossam. Taher's first wife confronts Shahinda. Hossam divorces Eman and keeps the news of her pregnancy from him.

When Hossam sets officer Hamed up for various crimes as revenge for helping Diab frame Hossam, he uses his recorded crimes to force him to admit to his false testimony against Hossam. Diab blames Hossam for Mansour's death so he kidnaps Eman and Shahinda.

Hossam admonishes his former boss for not believing him when he was falsely accused of bribery. Diab kidnaps Hossam's son and kills him. Hossam vows revenge after Eman admits that Diab is the one to blame for Moataz's death.

Hossam decides to turn over a new leaf and quits his illegal business. He reconciles with Eman and gets his son back. Taher loses his sight and the money he buried in the desert. Alber is arrested after Hossam turns him in.
