Saleh and Musa Al Warraq quarrel. Abdul Malik bin Atash praises Hassan bin Al Sabbah and recommends that he be his deputy in Al Batiniyya, angering his son Ahmed. Saleh saves Princess Safri’s jewelry from a thief, and she falls in love with him. Sheikh Al Tusi returns from Hajj.

Al Tusi tells Al Ghazali that he has a vision that his son Mohammed will unite the Muslims and he gives Minister Muhammad Al Ghazali a secret amount of money for his writing distinction. Safri makes Saleh the palace's goldsmith, and Hassan becomes more authoritative daily.

Al Ghazali falls ill and dies after telling Sheikh Al Tusi to take care of his two sons, Mohammed and Ahmed, so Al Tusi takes them to live with him. Aleppo falls into the hands of the Romans, so Alp Arslan prepares the army to retake Aleppo, but he discovers that the Romans have fled. Abdul Malik leaves the leadership of the Batiniyya to Hassan Al Sabah.

Safri marries Abdullah, so Saleh leaves for the Franks, and Al Tusi puts Mohammed and Ahmed Al Ghazali in an orphanage because he is unable to support them. Alp Arslan is killed, so Shah takes over the rule after him, and Mohammed Al Ghazali becomes a young man and obtains a license, which angers Ali.

As Mohammed begins working for Musa Al Warraq to support himself, Hassan makes Ahmad Ibn Al Atash work as a guard for the Shah, so he gains the Shah’s trust, who makes him the head of the guard. Al Tusi takes Mohammed to study with Sheikh Ahmad Al Radhkani, and the Caliph dies and Abdullah, Safri’s husband, takes over the Caliphate.

As Ali goes to study with Al Radhakani, Mohammed Al Ghazali writes his first book, but Al Radhkani tells him that it is not beneficial, so he tears it up. Hassan buys the slave girl Najla, gives her freedom and has Abdul Malik teach her. Ali’s jealousy of Mohammed increases after Al Radhakani refuses to let him study with him.

As Abdullah divorces Safri, Ali leaves Tous and goes to Burjan, Hassan makes Najla the leader of the Batiniyya women, and Mohammed leaves Tous and goes to study with Sheikh Abu Al Nasr and finds Ali with him. Ahmed Al Ghazali obtains his license, becomes a teaching assistant, and marries Shireen.

Saleh returns to Tous and Safri dies in his hands, and he incites the students against Mohammed, so Al Radhkani kicks him out. Saleh leaves the country and goes to Neyshabur to study with Sheikh Al Juwayni, and Hassan takes control of the Shahdiz Castle.

Mohammed obtains a license in philosophy, becomes a sheikh, and flees from Tous to Nishapur because he disagrees with the monotheistic groups to study matters of jurisprudence with Al Juwayni. Saleh saves Maryam from the highwayman, who has killed her husband, and promises to return her to Constantinople.

The Batiniyya terrorize the country, and Nizam Al Mulk seeks the advice of Al Sabbah, who convinces him to negotiate with the Batiniyya. Amr Al Sayegh dies, and Saleh is saddened by his death and returns Maryam to Constantinople. Mohammed excels in a debate with the leading jurists, so Al Juwayni makes him the head of the students.

Mohammed obtains a license in jurisprudence, and Nizam agrees to pay ten thousand dinars to Ahmed to stop the Batiniyya from harming the country. Ahmed tells his father of his desire to rebel against Al Sabbah, so Abdul Malik conceals the matter from Al Sabbah, who orders that he be flogged.

Al Juwayni praises Mohammed for writing the book (Al-Manqul fi Ilm Al-Usul), so Ali complains about Al Juwayni to Nizam and Al Sabbah takes him in and makes him a writer for Nizam with his cleverness. Al Juwayni dies, so Mohammad goes to Nizam and becomes one of his scholars. Mohammed refuses to join Al Sabbah and finishes his second book.

Mohammed excels in the debate with the scholars, so Nizam gives him a financial reward and the slave girl Saada. Abdul Malik and some of the Batiniyya rebel against Al Sabbah to release Ahmed, so he releases him after Ahmed declares his loyalty to him, and the Sunnis and Shiites go out to fight.

Mohammed Al Ghazali goes out and separates the Shiites from the Sunnis and prevents fighting. Nizam asks Mohammed to accompany him to Baghdad. Ali convinces Nizam with his malice not to take Mohammed with him so that people would not rally around him. Al Sabbah seeks help from Najla to get rid of the leaders of the rebellion, and Mohammed marries Saada.

Fatima's husband, Noah, dies, and Shah asks Mohammed to join him. Maryam returns to Tous and Saleh marries her. Mohammed begins to fight the Takfiris, and Nizam returns from Baghdad and asks Muhammed to go and join Sultan Shah's entourage.

Al Ghazali joins Shah's entourage, and Ali follows him per Al Sabbah's request. Shah agrees to Mohammed's return to Nizam, but Al Ghazali discovers that Al Sabbah is the head of the Batiniyya movement and is planning to addict people to hash to obey him, so he informs Nizam of the matter.

Al Sabbah flees to Shahdiz Castle, and Al Ghazali intercedes for Ali to return to Nizam's service. Shireen and Saada become pregnant, and Al Sabbah takes Najla to train a group of concubines. Moreover, Abdul Malik begins to recruit more to the Batiniyya.

Al Sabbah chooses Alamut Castle to be the seat of the Batinniyya, and Saada gives birth to Hamid. Saleh and Maryam disagree and separate, and Ali confesses his love to Najla, but she rejects him and gives him the slave girl Gulnar.

Al Sabbah and his men seize Alamut Castle and establish the Batinniya state. Nizam prepares an army to fight Al Sabbah, but Al Sabbah destroys the army and sends a message threatening to kill Al Ghazali. Nizam appoints Al Ghazali as a sheikh at the Nizamiyah School in Baghdad.

Fatima dies and Maryam returns to Saleh, while the rebel takes control of Basrah, and leads his men towards Wasit. Ibn Al Atash orders Ali to kill Nizam, but he refuses. Al Sabbah and his followers begin to seduce the people of the surrounding villages with the existence of God’s paradise on earth if they believed in Al Sabbah.

The rebel who claims to be the Mahdi is arrested, so Al Ghazali orders that he be punished. Ali goes to Shah and tells him about the Abbasid Caliph’s insult to him, so Nizam and Shah move with the army to Baghdad, and Nizam is killed by one of Al Sabbah’s men.

Ali loves Gulnar and becomes pregnant with him. King Shah dies, so Zubayda Khatun makes his son Mahmud the Sultan. Ali becomes Zubayda’s right-hand man, but he cooperates with her guards and releases Berkyaruq, Shah’s eldest son, from prison. Al Ghazali tells Berkyaruq about a vision of him winning his war.

Wars and disputes spread throughout the country, and Al Ghazali sends letters to convince Zubayda, Berkyaruq, and Tutush bin Alp to stop the power struggle. Ali has a son and names him Al Ghazali. Berkyaruq assumes the sultanate, Al Ghazali and the caliph pledge allegiance to him, and Zubayda dies.

Al Sabbah imprisons Ali and Gulnar and takes their son. Al Ghazali refuses to pledge allegiance to Tutush bin Alp. The Abbasid Caliph dies, and Prince Abu Al Abbas becomes the Caliph with the help of Al Ghazali. Al Sabbah releases Ali and Gulnar from prison, so Ali flees with her and her son to Al Ghazali’s house.

As Najla joins Sultan Tutush, Saada gives birth to a girl, and Al Ghazali names her Fatima. Berkyaruq defeats Tutush, who is killed in battle. Hamid falls ill and dies, so Al Ghazali is sad and locks himself in his house.

Al Sabbah's attempts to kill Berkyaruq fail, and Al Juwayni visits Mohammed Al Ghazali and tells him to leave Baghdad. Mohammed becomes mute, so he leaves Baghdad to perform Hajj alone, and his voice returns to him. Ahmed, his wife, and his daughter travel to Baghdad.

The Frankish armies move to invade the East, while Mohammed is still secluding himself searching for the truth of faith. Ibn Atash captures Gulnar and Ali in Jerusalem and returns them to Al Sabbah, who orders their torture.

Al Ghazali goes to Jerusalem and begins to urge people to jihad, while the governor of Jerusalem clashes with him. Al Ghazali begins writing his book, Ihya’ Ulum al-Din, and the country begins to fall into the hands of the Franks.

Saleh and Ahmed Al Ghazali go to war, and Mohammed Al Ghazali finishes his book, so he returns to Baghdad to teach.

Gulnar dies in the war, and Ali returns to Al Sabbah and takes his son with him. The Franks conquers Jerusalem, which they call Urusalim, and makes it the capital of their state. Al Sabbah marries Najla, and Al Ghazali writes a book about the scandals of the Batiniyya.

Al Ghazali returns to Tous and sells his properties in Baghdad and Tous to Saleh, and Berkyaruq takes control of Isfahan and defeats the Batiniyya there with the help of Ali, so Al Sabbah arrests Ali and they torture him mercilessly until he dies.

Berkyaruq dies after reconciling with his brother Mohammed, and Najla repents and goes to Sultan Mohammed and gives him information about the Battinyia. The Sultan seizes the Sabbah's Castle and kills Ibn Al Atash, and Sabah flees. Fatima marries Al Ghazali ibn Ali, and Mohammed Al Ghazali dies after his daughter’s marriage.
