Aleppo falls into the hands of the Romans, so Alp Arslan prepares the army to retake Aleppo, but he discovers that the Romans have fled. Abdul Malik leaves the leadership of the Batiniyya to Hassan Al Sabah.

Alp Arslan is killed, so Shah takes over the rule after him, and Mohammed Al Ghazali becomes a young man and obtains a license, which angers Ali.

Hassan buys the slave girl Najla, gives her freedom and has Abdul Malik teach her. Ali’s jealousy of Mohammed increases after Al Radhakani refuses to let him study with him.

Al Juwayni dies, so Mohammad goes to Nizam and becomes one of his scholars. Mohammed refuses to join Al Sabbah and finishes his second book.
