Abu Zayd and the youth arrive in disguise to the country of al-Ghitrif, who is looking for a doctor to heal him. Abu Zayd recalls the killing of his father at the hands of al-Ghitrif. Diab is infuriated due to the spread of disease and drought.
After Ward dies, Diab and Judge Bedair collapse. Abu Zayd meets al-Ghitrif disguised as the slave Mahmoud.
King Salsil of Persia arrives in the kingdom of al-Ghitrif and asks for Gudah and Gayel to be summoned. Gudah senses that Abu Zayd is planning to take revenge on al-Ghitrif, who killed his father.
As Abu Zayd tries to kill al-Ghitrif, he is confronted by his soldiers and runs away to the desert. Alia tells her brother, Diab, that Bouazza has prophesied that she'll marry Abu Zayd and take over the kingdom.
The judge leads a demonstration with the tribe against hunger. Abu Zayd leads the young men on the way back and discovers that they are approaching the kingdom of al-Zanati, Bouazza's native country, while a convoy of grain and food arrives for Banu Hilal to save them.
As Princess Shiha begins to worry about the fate of her brother, Abu Zayd, who went out looking for new land for the tribe, Princess Alia reassures them and tells them that he will marry her upon his return.
Abu Zayd realizes that the land of Tunisia will be a suitable place for the Banu Hilal tribe, according to Bouazza's prophecy. Al-Zanati rejoices as Aylula brings him news of Nogoom's pregnancy.

Princess Soada orders the preparation of an arena for the execution of Abu Zayd, Maree, and those with them, while Abu Zayd prepares an escape plan. Al-Zanati decides to free Nogoom from slavery.
Princess Soada is angered by the news of Nogoom's pregnancy and the threat to the throne, but she pretends to be happy for her father's sake. Aylula asks Abu Zayd not to escape, as the princess revokes the death sentence. Salsil asks to meet al-Zanati.
The princess uncovers the truth about Abu Zayd and his men and decides to smuggle them except for Maree. Abu Zayd confronts al-Zanati, reminds him of Bouazza's prophecy, and seeks to prevent Salsil's plans to impose starvation and siege.

Abu Zayd goes out looking for Bouazza, leaving his comrades hostage with al-Zanati. Soada asks her mother Khadra to leave with her until Abu Zayd returns. Nightmares haunt Sultan Hassan.
Surur informs the judge of the deterioration of the sultan's health and arranges the affairs of the sultanate. Zaalouk demands that the people storm the grain stores, while Handal asks Diab to save the kingdom from the greedy in the event of Hassan's death.
As Abu El Qumsan returns and says that he left Abu Zayd after the daughter of al-Zanati had had the gallows set up, Princess Alia collapses out of grief, while King Gudah shows apathy to the news of Abu Zayd's death and refuses to go to meet al-Ghitrif.
al-Ghitrif tries to find out the fate of Abu Zayd, while El Djazia erects a monument for Yahya, Maree, Younis and Abu Zayd al-Hilali, and accepts the marriage proposal of the Prince of Mecca. Diab decides to depose Hassan from the court.
The judge asks Alia to persuade Diab to leave Sultan Hassan, while Diab asks the people to obey him in robbing the tribes so that they do not perish from starvation, whereupon the judge asks the bandits to kill Diab.
When Abu Zayd returns to Banu Hilal disguised as a dervish, he sees bandits breaking into Diab's house, so he hurries and rescues Alia and Diab. He reveals his identity to Zaalouk, his mother Khadra rejoices, and Zaalouk spreads the news of Abu Zayd's return.
Abu Zayd prevents Diab from deposing the sultan, and tells Banu Hilal about finding new land for them to move to, but Diab rejects the idea of leaving and warns of the unknown.
Gudah is frightened when he learns that Abu Zayd is not dead, and al-Ghitrif asks him to go to Banu Hilal and hand them over convoys so that they do not march to Tunisia according to the instructions of the King of Persia.
Al-Zanati thanks El Allam for bringing the concubine Nogoom and marrying her off to him. Bouazza asks Abu Zayd not to fear and march towards Tunisia, and Alia promises Diab the Kingdom of Tunisia along with Abu Zayd.
Prince Selim, Gudah's father, arrives in the convoy. Abu Zayd orders everyone to leave for Tunisia and warns them of the hardships of the road. Diab stands in support of Abu Zayd, and Alia tries to get close to him.
Alia asks Abu Zayd to cooperate with Diab, and she spreads a rumor that Abu Zad proposed to her. Diab reminds Abu Zayd of the treachery of Banu Hilal towards him and his mother since his childhood.
Gudah is determined to kill al-Ghitrif, while Prince Gayel is angered by the latter's interest in Gudah. Al-Ghitrif plans to seize al-Zanati's throne in Tunisia.
Banu Hilal bid farewell to their land, heading for the desert on an arduous journey. Al-Ghitrif asks to meet the princes of the Arab countries and warns them against the advancing of Banu Hilal. Princess Soada watches in the enchanted water the marching of Banu Hilal towards Tunisia.
El Allam warns Princess Soada of the danger imposed on her father by Abu Zayd, who continues his journey across the desert, and refuses to be reconciled with Gudah and Gayel.
Diab asks Abu Zayd to eliminate al-Ghitrif, and they storm his castles, confront his soldiers and kill him. Abu Zayd returns and expels Gudah and Gayel after discovering their cooperation with al-Ghitrif.
Khadra is happy about the killing of al-Ghitrif and the avenging of her husband Rizq, while El Qusayr seeks help from Salsil after the killing of al-Ghitrif. The tribe arrives in Aleppo.
Abu Zayd asks Hassan to inform the King of Aleppo of the danger of the Persians. Zaalouk's health deteriorates. When Gudah asks the princes to get rid of Abu Zayd, El Djazia stands up to him. El Qusayr asks the King of Aleppo to expel Banu Hilal after learning about the killing of al-Ghitrif.
Gudah decides to march to Tunisia alone. Sultan Hassan tries to abandon Abu Zayd, let him be blamed alone for the consequences of killing al-Ghitrif, and demands that he leave. As the King of Aleppo demands that Banu Hilal leave, Diab attacks and captures him.
Abu Zayd asks Diab to release the King of Aleppo. Alia asks Judge Bedair to take control of the tribe. Banu Hilal head to Egypt with the Prince of Upper Egypt.
Makhul, al-Ghitrif's son, thinks of revenge against Abu Zayd, but Salsil asks him to obey his orders. Al-Zanati decides to install his unborn son as crown prince, and El Allam and Princess Soada become frightened.
Al-Zanati celebrates the enthronement of his son as crown prince before his birth, while Aylula informs Awali of the inauguration of her daughter Nogoom's son as crown prince. The tribe arrives in Upper Egypt. The judge considers wedding his daughter to Diab, and Alia to Abu Zayd.
Diab agrees to the marriage of his sister, Alia, to Abu Zayd, after the mediation of the Prince of Upper Egypt, as a step to unite the tribes. Makhul meets al-Zanati and warns him against the invasion of Banu Hilal.
El Djazia is saddened by the engagement of Alia and Abu Zayd, while Judge Bedair invites King Gudah to Abu Zayd's wedding, which takes place. The princes become worried about Diab's intentions during the march on Tunisia.
