As Firas tells Masoud that he has seen his wife Laila with a strange man, he makes certain of the news through Hanaa, whereupon he divorces her after confronting her, and refuses to expose her. Masoud leaves his work.

Abu Zuhair asks Masoud to bring evidence of Laila's infidelity. Laila meets the stranger again. Masoud begins mysterious dealings with Mamdouh while facing financial hardship.

Masoud suffers from people's gossip about his new job. The stranger showers Laila with gifts, but Aqil refuses to help her while visiting her son Hani after she has previously abandoned him.

Laila quarrels with Mourad while they meet in a casino. Masoud solves a joint inheritance problem between brothers in favor of Jean and his boss Michel in exchange for money with the help of Firas. Masoud likes Laila's co-worker.

Laila suffers as people brand her as a coquette. Firas' ex-girlfriend Lina comes back from her travels and contacts him again. Meanwhile, Laila turns against Mourad and destroys an apartment he bought for her.

Masoud threatens to harm Abu Munir if he continues to disrupt his dealings. Masoud manages to pull through a police report that was filed against him after impersonating a policeman. Masoud orders Firas to get close to his manager to expand their contact network.

The rain spoils the money that Masoud keeps, and he tries to dry them up with Firas, after which they carry out an illegal operation. Masoud gets false witnesses for a guy in return for a large sum of money.

Laila goes back to approaching Masoud. Firas feels remorse after forging the selling papers of Abu Hassan's property for his son Hassan in exchange for a share. Abu Hassan's family accuses Masoud of fraud.

Masoud attacks Abu Munir after interfering with his work, which makes the latter cooperate with him. Laila threatens Shadia to make him stay away from Masoud and Hani. Masoud changes his agreement with Hassan and faces the latter's wrath.

Masoud and Laila spend time alone after he takes her to a fancy hotel. As Hassan sends thugs to Firas and Masoud's house, Masoud threatens to report him to the police and they return to cooperate together. Firas meets Lina in her apartment.

Masoud attacks a director of a government department, after which the director is removed from his position. Masoud bails out the boy Qassem who went to prison on charges of robbing Abu Munir's office. Masoud refuses to forgive Laila, and devises a plan to work in smuggling goods.

Masoud and Firas turn to the criminal Rashid to protect them and work for him in exchange for a sum of money. Abu Zuhair is taken to the hospital and refuses the financial aid of Masoud and Firas. Masoud's circle of acquaintances expands and his money increases.

By chance, Laila and Maysa meet with their old colleague Basil. Hanan disagrees with Abu Zuhair about his desire to divide his property among his children. Masoud gets to know the government official, Maba, and then the intelligence agency inquires about Masoud.

Firas congratulates the new director. The relationship between Firas and Maya strengthens and he evades Laila. Firas buys an apartment for Hanan and then quarrels with his father over the source of his money.

Masoud offers marriage to Maya, who intervenes to help Masoud after the police storm his office. Masoud keeps the colonel out of his way after learning of his engagement to Maya. Firas let go of his relationship with Lina despite her attempts to obtain a divorce from her husband.

Laila gets angry after Masoud and Maya get married, so she reconnects with Basil. While Masoud is traveling, Abd surprises him that the land he is trying to buy has been placed under legal guardianship.

Ministers contact Masoud to take his advise on financial matters. As Masoud searches for a way to go into the arms trade, Laila chases Masoud and creates trouble for him.

As Rashid chases Maya, she threatens to kill him and informs her father of what happened. Maya tells Masoud of Rashid's previous desire to marry her despite her refusal to marry him. Shadia takes Masoud's mother to the hospital after she falls ill.

Masoud is forced to meet Rashid in order to end their disagreement and let him know about that he did not know his feelings for Maya. Masoud's family is concerned about his disappearance.

Rashid tells Masoud the details of his previous relationship with Maya and orders him to leave her or else he will kill his family, while Masoud and his friends search for a way to get rid of Rashid.

After Masoud tells Rashid that he divorced Maya, he moves his mother and Hani to another apartment; meanwhile, Masoud and Maya's psychological condition worsens.

Laila reconnects with Masoud, despite his rejection of her. Masoud carries out a plan to buy a land lot in the estate clandestinely.

Masoud sends his spy to the governorate office to bring him the organizational charts for lands and buildings. Hani overhears a conversation between his mother and a man while he is sleeping over at hers, whereupon Masoud takes Hani to stay with him.

Firas's family is shocked after they find a girl in his apartment. Businessmen come to buy land from Masoud and the latter listens to their discussions with his assistant, Abu Mahmoud.

As a mysterious official warns Masoud of the bid he entered with Firas, he sends his men to beat them. But Masoud wins it after his delay in withdrawing, and when the official meets them, he denies having given orders to beat them.

Masoud and Firas venture into politics to protect their money, and they are met with Abu Zuhair's rejection. Hanan marries Iyad.

Masoud gets permission to run in the elections and their campaign slogan is to fight corruption. Laila helps Maysa get divorced from her husband, while Masoud returns to visit Maya.

Hani goes back to sleep over at Laila's. As Masoud wins the elections and expands his business with the rest of the deputies, his mother is surprised by his refusal to help his old neighbors

Firas applies for a large loan by order of Masoud. Firas marries the spoiled Madeleine, a marriage of conveniences. Maya repels Masoud's attempts to get close to her.

Masoud likes the employee Samar, and Firas suffers from his wife's behavior. Masoud decides to sell his share in the project, but after Haitham learns about this, he tries to find out about the matter from their hidden partners.

Masoud gets sick and Samar takes care of him. He is shocked to learn that Qassem did business in his name without his knowledge and made huge sums. Abu Zuhair dies. Masoud and Firas regret their actions.
