As Wanis talks with a picture of his deceased wife Maysa, he tells her about his joy at what happened in the country and the youth’s demand for freedom. Ezz wants to emigrate. Sharaf struggles with the death of his wife. Abdullah suffers from not seeing his children after he divorced Abla.

Wanis is reassured about what Aman will do if he becomes president. Wanis is upset that his children and grandchildren are busy with Facebook and Twitter, and that everyone has become a political activist, then he learns that Jihad wants to stay in America.

Wanis tells Malak that Facebook is a double-edged sword. As Wanis' children and their spouses tell Wanis that he must change, he reminds them of the constitution that he and Maysa put in place to raise them, until he reached the article of change that they added.

As Wanis asks Zakaria not to divorce Jihad, he gets upset about the gas cylinder crisis and the high prices. Shiraz tells him that she had to say that she is his wife in the police report, after that he finds everyone is afraid of thugs in the country, so he says that we need human duties organizations.

Shiraz tells Wanis the story of her uncle, who was arrested on a political charge, and about the torment she faced because of her search for him. As Shiraz asks to stay in Abu Al-Fadl's room, Mo'taza, Ezz and Abdullah also ask the same request for different reasons.

As Wanis suspects that Galal sent thugs to steal the bag of money, he asks Mo'taza to leave his house. Wanis, Malak, Adela and Sheikh Fadl talk to Shakira after the residents protested against her, as she agreed to leave the owners' union and they ended up appealing for elections.

Wanis apologizes to Adel about what the residents say about the police. Shakira is upset about the behavior of her daughters. As Shiraz beats her brother Firas for making fun of the source of her money, she speaks with Wanis about the loss of morals and change.

Wanis confronts Zakaria with his pictures with Shahira, which Jihad saw. Wanis gives Hoda tips to become a successful broadcaster. Abbas steals Firas's bag that had money and weed. Adel complains to Wanis about the injustice that is happening with the police after the revolution.

Wanis is annoyed by Ezz's imitation of Guevara, and the way people recover their stolen cars. Wanis tells Baher that the problem with his money, Zainab's problem, and the problem of searching for Muhannad have no solutions. Wanis tells Shiraz that he made Adel look for her politically imprisoned uncle.

As Nader tells Wanis that he opened a law firm for himself, Nazir and his wife come to apologize to Wanis for what Nader had done. They also talked about the protests and the suspension of factories, then Shiraz offers him to bring Inas to train and work with them.

Adel tells Shiraz that her uncle is in the mental hospital. Wanis, his grandchildren, Nader and Hoda watch the first episode of Hoda's program, and she's upset that she's like other broadcasters. A problem happens between Ezz and Houria for leaving their work and bankruptcy.

Wanis scolds his children and relatives for their greed in his house and their belief that this is their right, while he tells Sharaf that it's okay to be in love after his wife. Shiraz gets to know her uncle Suleiman in the mental hospital who is registered under another name.

Abdullah talks about the pros and cons in London. Wanis and Baher wonder about everyone’s desire to travel and leave Egypt. After Sharaf gets annoyed about Bahira preparing food, he returns and makes her eat with him and his son. Mo'taza comes with her aunt to Wanis’s house.

Shiraz thanks Wanis for paying for Suleiman's treatment after Adel completed the procedures to get him out of the mental hospital. Wanis sends clients with their cases to Nader's office. The residents of the building quarrel in Wanis' apartment over who is the head of the building union.

Ezz becomes an Islamist. Zakaria sends his two daughters to visit their mother in America. Wanis and Baher criticize the concept of freedom while they are sitting in a cafe. Baher is then beaten because he is a remnant of the regime. Shakira is worried about Bahira's relationship with Zakaria.

Wanis thanks Abbas for leaving the money to Shiraz to treat Suleiman, then advises him and Shiraz to turn himself in. It's revealed that Wanis made Bahira become close to Sharaf, and made her tell him that Baher wants her to marry his son. Wanis then talks with his children about change.

Shahira says to Zakaria that she might marry him if she is sure that his life with Jihad is impossible. Wanis sees Shiraz reproaching her brother for coming home with a drug for trafficking. Out of his grief over his children, Wanis dreams that they and his sons-in-law want to kill him.

Wanis' grandchildren tell him that they need him and his queues. Suleiman's speech returns when he hears Shiraz asking Wanis for money for the hospital. Sharaf knows from Samira that Bahira's marriage story with Baher's son is a trick, then he confesses his love to her.

Suleiman gives one hundred thousand pounds to Shiraz, which he borrowed from Hamdi. Wanis knows that Sharaf found out about his plan to make Bahira get close to him. Abdullah tells Wanis that Khalil is coming to Egypt. Hoda complains about Wanis' preoccupation with Yasmine.

Wanis enrolls Yasmine in the radio auditions for singing. Metaw' brings Abdullah to buy one of Halqum's inventions. As Wanis goes to ask for Bahira's hand for Sharaf, he finds Zakaria asking for Shahira's hand, who reprimands him for using her to harass Jihad. Bahira agrees to marry Sharaf.

Hamdi tells Suleiman that he has an account in the bank in which he has his money. Zakaria apologizes to Wanis. It's revealed that Wanis agreed with Shahira to expose Zakaria. Hoda tells Wanis that she wants to divorce Nader because he wants her to stay at home.

Tafidah dies. Zakaria asks Shahira to dissolve their partnership. Wanis warns Shiraz not to sign checks in favor of Suleiman because he may not have money. Wanis warns Ezz against defaming Yasmine. Shiraz tells Suleiman that the case is postponed, then he dies.

Baher learns about Aman's program, who wants to run for the presidency. As Nader apologizes to Wanis, Abdullah intercedes for him to return to the office. Hamdiya and Zakaria want stuff from their sister Hosnia. Shiraz tells Wanis that Suleiman left her one million and two hundred thousand in her account.

Shiraz expresses her confusion to Wanis regarding spending the money that Suleiman left her. Wanis advises Abdullah to raise his children and leave the apartment to Abla's husband. Wanis rebukes Zakaria, Hamdiya and Houria for their requests from Sharaf. Wanis reproaches Ezz for making him lie to Houria.

The residents of the building accuse some of them of vandalizing the building, especially Shakira, who denies this to Wanis. Wanis tries hard not to do a wedding to Sharaf and Bahira and just throw a small party. Malak tries to prove that there is cracks and water leakage in Wanis' apartment.

Jawaher advises her son to stay away from the drug trade. A fashion show match takes place between Mo'taza, Shakira, and Shiraz, where each of them wears a flashy dress. Hamdiya asks to read Al-Fatihah to her sister Hosniya, but Yasmine softens the atmosphere by singing a song by Umm Kulthum.

Shakira comes to Wanis’s office in a new look to ask him about Ahlam, as Mo'taza and Shiraz asked him. As Muhannad comes to return his wife Samira to him and takes her to give birth in Canada, Wanis asks Shakira whether or not to give him another chance.

As Amina returns from traveling, Zakaria is upset that Jihad does not return with her, but Wanis promises him to confront her himself. Abdullah brings his neighbor to Wanis' office, who turns out that she needs a psychiatrist. Zakaria hears Amina ask Wanis to travel to Jihad and Lamis for a million pounds.

Shiraz rejoices in the arrest of the one who tried to rape Inas. Shakira, Mo'taza, and Zakaria blame Wanis for his decision to travel to America, and for selling his principles, as they believe that he is going to Lamis.

As Wanis’s children and their spouses wonder about his need for money and his desire to travel to America, Wanis tells Shiraz that Jihad has cancer, so she offers him her money; Abdullah and Mo'taza also offer him money.

Abu Al-Fadl returns after Wanis travels to America, and it turns out that he and Amina knew about Jihad’s illness. Shakira and Mo'taza are upset by the travel of Shiraz to Wanis in America. Ezz is investigated because of a mistake in his work and Bahira's complaint about him.

Abu Al-Fadl learns about Sharaf and Ezz's refusal to give Hoda the money that she loaned to them, the problem between Bahira and Ezz, and Zakaria's desire to divorce Jihad. As the operation of Jihad succeeds, Abu Al-Fadl tells everyone that she was sick and that Wanis traveled to her to undergo the operation.

As Wanis and Jihad return, he notices the division between his kids, so he goes back to writing his diaries. Jihad fails to reconcile between Ezz and Sharaf, but she notices the change in their personalities. Wanis' kids apologize for not attending the dinner that he invited them to.

Wanis gives a lesson to his family when he put the pictures of the greats from previous generations in the place of the pictures of his kids and grandkids. He advises them that the success of the revolution should be by stop talking and start working.

Abu Al-Fadl talks with his great-grandchildren about hatred of the other, and about reward and punishment. Ezz and Sharaf reconcile and they give Hoda her money. Then they apologize to Wanis for their past mistakes, so he instructs them to eliminate the slums.

Abdullah asks Wanis to ask for Baruma’s hand for him. Wanis collects donations for the slum project, so he donates 100,000 pounds, and Shiraz, Abdullah, Hoda, Amina, Abu Al-Fadl, Hussein and Shakira also make donations.

Wanis talks with Soso about discrimination and equality. Mo'taza wants to have a role in eliminating slums. Major General Sanad meets with Shakira, Farag, Baher and Adela to talk about the problems of the building. Everyone agrees on the name of the institution “Together for the Development of Slums.”

Wanis proposes to Baher to donate half of his campaign costs to the slum project. When Hussein offers Shahira to work for him, she thinks that it's a plan by Wanis to marry them. Wanis issues the institution papers. Wanis, Shiraz, Nader and Abdullah sits with two potential presidential candidates.

It turns out that Abdullah misunderstood, as Baruma refuses to marry him. As Wanis appears with Hoda in her program to talk about her project to eliminate slums, Shakira announces through a telephone call her foundation "With our families we save ourselves."

Abbas is released from prison. As Abdullah takes Shiraz's advice, he deceives Baruma that he will make his kids travel to their mother, so she agrees to marry him. Wanis knows that Zakaria is behind Shakira's foundation, while he accuses his kids of treason for their decision to emigrate abroad.

Wanis refuses to talk to his kids who want to emigrate, except for Hoda and Nader. The bank manager tells Shiraz that there is a check she has signed for someone named Qadri Raafat, who was her uncle's partner and that the check was made with only 40 pounds, after he took 2 million and 400 thousand.

Shiraz finds that the solution to her problem is to make the two who will be released from the mental hospital to live in her old apartment with Abbas. Shakira promises to give Baher a million pounds in exchange for convincing Wanis to marry her. Wanis' children agree to help him until the travel date.

Hussein confesses his love to Shahira. Qadri offers Shiraz to help her with money to solve her problems. For fear of Shiraz announcing their engagement, Wanis asks Mo'taza to bring Yasmine to live with him. When Mo'taza asks Wanis why he doesn't marry her, he reproaches her for leaving her daughter.

Hussein asks for Shahira's hand from Wanis, who is forced to make them postpone it, after he knows about Shakira's intentions to marry him after Shahira's marriage. Wanis' kids are shocked by the mishaps of their children. Wanis travels abroad to convince the communities to donate to the slums.

Sharaf asks for the cup that Wanis' grandchildren stole from the school. After Qadri buys Shiraz a car, he gives it to her with a power of attorney. Adel proposes to Shahira from Shakira, but Shahira refuses. Wanis travels to Europe to talk with the Egyptian communities about helping in eliminating slums.

As Wanis returns from his tour in Europe, he advises Shahira to continue refusing to marry. Shakira hands Wanis the basement to be the headquarters of the foundation. Shiraz thinks that Qadri stole her car. Farag and four of his followers win the elections in the building.

As Wanis's grandchildren apologize to him for what they did, they blame him for being preoccupied. Nader rejoices at Hoda's pregnancy. Shiraz accuses Qadri of stealing the car. Baruma asks Abdullah to tell his ex-wife that she is pregnant. Abu Al-Fadl returns from travel, and Hossam dies.

Donia returns to Mo'taza. Wanis refuses Hussein's marriage to Shahira in front of Shakira and Baher, then asks Hussein to delay the proposal to her. After Qadri accepts Shiraz's apology, she suspects that Firas stole the car, as Abbas assured her of that.

As Wanis advises Shiraz not to suspect Firas without evidence, she finds out that Abbas was the thief, so she hands him over to the police. Abu Al-Fadl advises Mo'taza to marry, then travels to Greece. Sharaf and Houria suspect that Bahira and Ezz will travel to Japan for work.

Shiraz tries to apologize to Firas for doubting him. Wanis receives the first land to solve the slum problem. Sharaf tells Bahira that he does not want her to travel with Ezz to Japan and travel with anyone else. Nader complains from Hoda's behaviours to Wanis.

Mo'taza tells Wanis that Hossam was married to another woman and wrote to her all his property. Baruma's plan succeeds, as Abla refuses to take her children. Hussein confesses to Shahira that Wanis asked him to delay his proposal to her, then he proposes to her from Baher in the presence of Wanis.

When Qadri tells Wanis that he wants to marry Shiraz, he advises him to propose to her. The residents revolt against the building union under the administration of Farag. Wanis blames Sharaf for doubting Ezz and Bahira. Wanis decides to travel to America for the one billion campaign.

As Wanis returns from America, Shiraz tells him not to interfere in her life. Wanis talks with his family about the order and cleanliness in America. Sharaf apologizes to Bahira, and they reconcile, then Wanis scolds him for doubting Ezz.

After Shakira tells him that she will marry Baher, Wanis tries to convince him of this. Shiraz tells Wanis about Firas' illegal immigration, who drowns during emigration. Sharaf continues to doubt Ezz. Because of the events in the country, the Japanese cohorts cancel their visit to Egypt.

Abdullah divorces Baruma after discovering her greed for his money. Families from the slums come to Wanis to complain about their conditions. As the owner of the hotel decides to sell it, Ezz and Bahira become unemployed. Wanis falls unconscious when Sharaf accuses Ezz of having an affair with Bahira.

Hoda undergoes an operation where her fetus is aborted. Bahira asks Sharaf for a divorce. Wanis consoles his daughter Hoda. Wanis is shocked when Hussein tells him that the land of the project has been withdrawn and the agreement with the former governor is cancelled.

Shakira and Baher try to persuade Bahira not to have a divorce. Wanis searches for a solution to the slum problem. As the building council is dissolved, Sanad surprises them that there are problems in the foundations of the building, then he, Farag and Shakira run for the presidency of the union.

Aman tries to gather Wanis's grandchildren after Sharaf and Ezz failed to reconcile with him. Mo'taza takes Yasmine and goes to the apartment she bought. Bahira asks Wanis to file a case of khula from Sharaf. Wanis decides to leave when a terrorist incident occurs to the soldiers in Ramadan.

Wanis sells his office and asks Shiraz to give the money to the families of the martyrs. He gives a check to Mo'taza to buy an apartment for Soso. Wanis discovers that Esmat deceived him and that he is the one who bought the office. Wanis' kids try to reconcile between Ezz and Sharaf.

When Wanis doesn't return home, everyone worries about him and search for him everywhere. As his children and their families gather, Wanis comes back and scolds them for what they had done, and for the state that the country had reached, but they promise him that they would make Egypt more beautiful.
