As the journalist Ruwaida interviews politician Mustafa Saeed and Mr. Raafat Mansour, a huge controversy occurs among the guests, so Ruwaida tries to contain the situation as much as possible.

The conversation between Raafat Mansour and Tahseen gets tense as he accuses him of cooperating with movements supporting terrorism in Iraq. Hussam meets Ghinwa and Rana and takes some information from them to have them travel abroad.

Ruwaida suffers as her ex-husband Hani is always pursuing her and tries to stop him. Rana quarrels with Aktham, revealing to him all the sadness and reproach she's holding.

Ruwaida and Kanaan write a report on a business run by Kamal. Aktham gets involved in business with Raafat, while Rana is troubled by her thoughts of her stepfather raping her.

Atika agrees with Aktham that they work together. Kanaan quarrels with an employee in the channel, and Ruwaida tries to find out the reason.

Ruwaida confronts Aktham about his relationship with Raafat. Kanaan tells his daughter Samar about his fear of party gangs and their exploitation of the political situation in Iraq.

Mustafa asks Aktham to stay away from Raafat. Ruwaida meets Atika and tries to find out what connects her to Raafat, while Tahseen enters prison.

Kanaan grows angry as he gets prevented from traveling to console Mustafa after the death of his wife. Aktham offers to help Lina until Tahseen is released from prison.

Tahseen gets out of prison and tells Lina that Raafat is plotting against him. Aktham meets his cousin Samar, whom he has not seen for a long time.

Raafat suspects Bahjat of being behind the attempt made on Kanaan's life. As Suhaib is injured in an explosion on the road, his father and Aktham are forced to travel to Damascus to check on him.

Dr. Nizar detains the party leader Bahjat for interrogation about the shooting at Kanaan's house, while Raafat tries to get him out. Aktham quarrels with Rana.

Kamal is killed and Bahjat grieves. Meanwhile, Suhaib is paralyzed after being injured.

Raafat sends his men to Kanaan's house to steal the documents belonging to Kamal, while Ruwaida tries to find out who are the culprits. Rana asks Aktham to marry her.

Nizar asks Ruwaida to consider taking over the management of the channel instead of Kanaan, but she insists on refusing. Rana suffers from hallucinations and is hospitalized, so Hilal visits her.

Kanaan decides to return to Baghdad despite the opposition of his daughter, Samar, whom he leaves at her uncle Mustafa's house out of fear for her. Atika asks Raafat to marry her.

Aktham tells his uncle about his relationship with Rana. Hani accuses Ruwaida of being in a relationship with Mustafa.

Abdullah asks Lina for a large sum of money. Suhaib feels very sad that he has become paralyzed and is afraid that Samar might leave him.

Lina asks Aktham to hand over the money to Abdullah, while Ali grows suspicious of her. Mustafa tells his brother Kanaan that he might marry Ruwaida, so he encourages him.

Tahseen quarrels with his son over his refusal to join the party, while Ruwaida is still insisting on not returning to Hani and remaining with Mustafa.

Mustafa quarrels with Aktham and kicks him out of the house after learning of his relationship with Rana, so Kanaan intervenes to bring him back, but he refuses any kind of relationship with Ruwaida, so Samar encourages him.

Aktham goes to the club and quarrels there, which leads him to enter the police station. The relationship between Mustafa and Ruwaida grows stronger, which makes Hani jealous.

Atika sends an audio recording of Raafat talking with her about his suspicious deals to Bahjat after he refused to marry her. Mustafa goes back on the decision of marrying Ruwaida because of his children's refusal but is still meeting her.

Aktham asks his father for forgiveness and that he come back home. Later on, he visits Rana after learning about her illness. Raafat tries to find a solution with Atika.

Mustafa learns about Aktham's relationship with Rana and rejects it completely. Samar invites Ruwaida to attend Suhaib's birthday party, but the latter refuses to shake hands with her and quarrels with her, upon which she leaves the house.

Abu Ammar, Abdullah's neighbor, asks his friend Abdelkader to track down Lina's place of residence. Atika is shot dead while leaving the house with Raafat.

Rana asks Ammar to help her travel outside Iraq. Meanwhile, Abu Ammar discovers that Lina is married to Abdullah.

Abu Ammar kills both Lina and Abdullah, while Tahseen gets hospitalized after learning the fact that his wife has cheated on him. Raafat agrees with Bahjat to get rid of Dr. Nizar.

Aktham quarrels with his father because of his wish to marry Rana, who in turn rejects him and decides to emigrate. Meanwhile, Ruwaida and Kanaan search for Raafat's file.

Tahseen learns of Lina's death and is sad because she stole all his money. Hilal tells Mustafa that Rana rejected his son for his sake.

Aktham's condition worsens because of his love for Rana, while Suhaib tries to patch things up with Ruwaida, who wants to recover the file from Hani without marrying him.

Raafat sends one of his men to Ruwaida's house and questions the maid about the file. Elsewhere, Nizar holds a meeting with the party members and reveals the extent of Raafat's corruption.

Raafat succeeds in obtaining the file from Hani by force. Hani is embarrassed by Ruwaida, who mocked him, while Kanaan tries to convince Raafat that he wants to work with him.

Another attempt is made on Raafat's life amid his dispute with Nizar, so the former implicitly accuses the latter of being behind the matter. Mustafa expresses his longing for Ruwaida.

Suhaib starts to do well by Ruwaida. Tahseen discovers that his only friend has been arrested and his son died because of him, which makes him attempt suicide. Kanaan goes back on trying to get close to Raafat after Mustafa's advice to him.

Samar and Suhaib tie the knot. Aktham goes to Rana at the airport and asks her to marry him after his father's approval. Tahseen is happy to live with his son and abandons the social life after his failed suicide attempt.
