Issam arrives in Iraq and his family receives him at the airport but his father dies, and a large funeral is held for him. Ghaida is surprised by her father's refusal to proceed with her engagement to Issam.
Before he died, Badr was in a psychiatric hospital, and Issam wanted to know the reason, so he asked Abdul Razzaq and his brothers Mounir and Fawzi about the reason. Mounir runs his father’s company and handles all contracts.
Zahir, accompanied by Mounir and Fawzi, makes fun of Issam as they want to hide their relationship with Badr's death. Issam meets Wafik and tries to find out about his father's admission to the hospital from him. Issam also meets his fiancée, who supports him.
The lawyer reads Badr's will in front of his children, and Issam objects to Badr's signing over most of his property to Mounir and Fawzi, and his suspicions increase about their killing of his father.
The bullet wounds Gabr, and Mounir and Fawzi are detained after Issam accuses them of targeting him. As for Ghaida, she is in critical condition after being injured.
Gabr dies amidst intense grief from his daughter and wife. Abu Sarmad agrees with Uncle Zahir to hand over the documents to him in exchange for Sarmad's deportation and treatment.
Issam feels sad about his father's death and is sure that his brothers are the ones behind his death. Wafik agrees with Uncle Zahir to send Sarmad away.
Gabr's house is searched for documents related to the deceased and his wife is threatened and kidnapped. Issam carries Aseel and they go to stay in a hotel.
Nadeema remembers the day she went to Badr asking him to help her by giving her milk to her children, and he helped her. In the meantime, Mounir’s men detain and torture her, as the police search for him.
In a flashback, Badr adopts Mounir and Fawzi when they were kids and registers himself as their father after their father dies inside his factory. In the meantime, Issam tries to treat Ghaida’s face, but her father refuses.
Badr registers the two children as his kids after convincing Gabr, and Wafik takes the formalities and marries their mother, but his wife becomes angry when she learns of his other marriage.
Issam tries to get some information from Uncle Sami about his father's life in the past. Rasmiya asks Badr to return the two children to her, but he refuses.
Issam treats Sarmad for nerve damage and performs surgery on Ghaida's face. Mounir's wife falls, so he takes her to the hospital and Issam saves her from death.
Afaf apologizes to Issam and he reassures her regarding her health condition. Wafik learns of Issam’s treatment of his son and feels ashamed of himself. Issam watches the videotape that Badr recorded before he died in which he talks about the whole truth.
Rasmiya quarrels with Badr's wife and asks her to return her two sons to her. When Badr learns the news, he divorces Rasmiya, and Uncle Sami continues Badr's story to Issam.
Sarmad's operation is successful and his fiancée is very happy. As for Ghaida, she leaves the hospital with a disfigured face after she makes her statement to the officer.
Issam removes the gauze from Ghaida's face, which has a slight disfigurement that she cannot bear to see. Issam, along with the lawyer, manages to prevent the sale of any of Badr's properties after he enters the psychiatric hospital.
The properties of Mounir and Fawzi are seized by a court decision amidst Uncle Zahir’s anger and fear of Issam, and he remembers how Rasmiya lost everything she owned.
Maysoon dies and leaves two children, Issam and Aseel, and they are adopted by Badr. Issam hears the entire recording and is saddened about what happened to his father.
Rasmiya kills her husband because he wants her to work in prostitution, so she is arrested. She is surprised that Badr registered Issam and his sister as his kids. Sarmad's health condition improves.
Abdul Razzaq meets with Aseel and reassures her that he will help Issam reach Badr’s killers. Wafik asks Issam for forgiveness and asks him to protect his son from Mounir and Fawzi.
Zahir takes both Mounir and Fawzi to prison to see their real mother, Rasmiya, and they are distraught. Issam performs plastic surgery on Ghaida’s face but with no significant result.
The police are pursuing Mounir and Fawzi to interrogate them about Gabr's murder. As for Ghaida, her mother is considering sending her abroad to treat her face.
Nadeema appears and the officer interrogates her. She accuses Mounir and Fawzi of kidnapping her, and the lawyer takes over their defense. Issam decides to carry out a second operation on Ghaida, and she agrees. Wafik goes to the police and tries to confess to everything.
Sarmad becomes able to walk amidst his father's joy. Zahir threatens Issam with a weapon to get the videotape.
Mounir and Fawzi are arrested, Zahir and his men escape, and Nadeema points out the basement in which she was held captive. Issam is very sad for Badr after it was proven that he was taking drugs that caused hallucinations.
Nadeema drops the case, Mounir and Fawzi are released, and Zahir is arrested after being chased by the police.
Ghaida's operation succeeds and she regains her beauty. Zahir is tried for inciting Mounir and Fawzi to put Badr in a mental hospital, and he dies.
