Jamil asks for Sahira’s hand in marriage from her grandmother, and she agrees despite her mother Fitna's refusal. As Latif sends a message to check on his grandmother, Dr. Akram tells Donia that Latif is suffering from a serious illness and has to undergo surgery.
Donia avoids meeting and talking to Latif because she is afraid of his illness, which is the cause of her father's death. Latif goes to the village and is surprised by Sahira's agreement to marry Jamil.
Salem asks Amal to intercede with Donia to talk to him, but she tells him that Donia is not currently interested. As Jamil is jealous of Muhammad and always tries to belittle and insult him, Latif refuses to undergo the operation and only takes painkillers.

The grandmother prevents Sahira from returning to Baghdad. As for Latif, he opens a painting exhibition and Donia visits him, but he ignores her. At the same time, Salem pretends that he is going to marry his cousin, which angers Donia and Amal.
