Fadda tells her husband Fakhry that their young son, Younis, died from a scorpion sting. Fadaly attacks Basima, and when her brother tries to rescue her, he accidentally kills Fadaly's father; he tries to escape and Fadda takes him in.
Fadda calms Ibrahim the young boy and promises to bring his sisters. Years pass and Ibrahim -who is called Younis- grows up and handles all his father's business. His wife, Radwa, resents his mistreatment of her and complains he doesn't love her.
The governor wants to meet Younis after he bought an antique house. Younis's uncles are still arguing about how he seized their brother's money. Younis smuggles guns and escapes from the police. His cousin, Safa, asks him to leave her alone after he left her and married his wife.
Younis checks on the smuggled antiquities in his hideout. Rawia tries to persuade her husband Khalid to work with Younis but he refuses. Salama asks his brother Fayez to marry his son to his daughter in order to keep her away from Younis.
Master Owais's wife asks Shams to stay away from her husband. Younis's stepmother, Hassiba, warns Fadda from her son getting close to her kids.
Younis wants to marry Safa and Fadda tries to dissuade him. Fadaly blames his mother for marrying another after the death of his father.
Younis survives a murder attempt. He takes his young son Ibrahim to the mountain, where he arranges a new smuggling operation.
Younis makes a deal to smuggle antiquities and agrees on the day of delivery. Fadaly works with his stepfather Refat on the farm. Shams fights with her sister Qamar for talking with Galal. Bekhita flips out when she sees Fadda's dead son. Younis steals the smuggled antiquities.
Younis warns Mazen not to see Safa again. Master Owais has a heart attack and Shams tries to help him. Youniss' real father, Ragab, is released from jail after being wrongfully accused of forgery.
Msalam returns to his village and meets Um Asbab (Asbab's mother) who tells him what happened to his sons. Owais recovers and wants to marry Shams to protect her from his kids.
Younis is upset that Safa wants to marry Mazen and he fights with his wife. Rafat tries to persuade Fadaly to release Msalam.
Younis meets his sister Shams by accident, and his brother Shebl wants to marry Qamar.
Younis argues with his uncle Salama for letting Safa marry her cousin Mazen, although he knows that Safa only loves Younis.
Radwa finds out that Younis loves Safa and she stays with her brother. Younis meets her officer brother, Farouk, who warns him indirectly about his secret illegal operations.
Younis reconciles with Radwa. Fayez convinces his younger son, Azab, to marry Ghada, Hassiba's daughter. Owais and his men attack Shams and her sister at the workshop and kick them out. Fadda tells Younis that his youngest sister died.
Um Asbab asks Fadaly to help her with Bekhita. Hassiba wants Fayez to take revenge on Younis.
Safa gets sick and is taken to hospital and her marriage to Mazen gets postponed. Shams and her sister, Qamar, rent out a new home.
After Safa recovers, Younis wants to marry her. Shams tries to look for a job but her lack of proper education stands in the way.
A man tells Younis that he owns the cemetery and the antiquities in it. The problems reach a climax between the two brothers, Fayez and Salama, when the latter refuses to let his daughter marry her cousin.
Younis discovers a new Pharaonic cemetery and decides to sell the smuggled antiquities to a tourist, but the police raid the place.
Younis finds out that the man at the cemetery replaced the antiquities with straw. Ghada agrees to marry her cousin, Azab.
Fadda warns against marrying Safa, but Younis surprises everyone with his marriage to her anyway.
Salama finds out that Younis pretended to marry Safa to save her from her uncles. Shebl talks with Qamar.
Hassiba meets Qamar and asks her about her family name and she gets worried. Khalid tries to make the governor demolish the house that Younis built in place of the antique house, but he fails.
There is still tension between Younis and Farouk. For a yet-to-be-known reason, Younis decides to sell all of the property and land. Shebl wants to marry Qamar.
Fadda finds out that Bekhita killed her young boy, and that Hassiba was behind it because she was jealous of her. Fadda kills Bekhita.
Farouk plants drugs in Younis's car and he gets arrested. Farouk forces him to divorce Radwa but he declines. Shebl finds out that Qamar and her sister were kicked out of the house.
Younis escapes from jail and meets his real father who died after. Younis asks Radwa to forgive him, and Fadaly threatens to kill Younis's son.
Younis reunites with his sisters, Shams and Qamar. Fadaly tells Fayez the truth about Younis. Safa blames Younis for not telling her the truth.
Fayez kidnaps Fadda to force Younis to return. Younis gives up everything in exchange for setting Fadda free. Fadaly tries to kill Younis, but Shebl dies instead. Younis returns to his wife and son.
