The Israelites lived as slaves in Egypt without escape. Seti I ruled Egypt to combat corruption, and the Israelites rebelled, trying to escape to Palestine. He fought them with the Palestinian Bedouin.

The Israelites united with the Hittites, and King Seti allied with them to agree to a blood feud and attempt to rearm the army. The two sides agreed to meet in a neutral location to sign a truce.

The persecution of the Israelites in Egypt escalated. The pharaoh's son married Nefertari, and the queen ruled the country in secret. The pharaoh decided to kill the Israelites' children one year and then abandon them the next because their numbers were increasing and threatening Egypt's security.

Nefertari became pregnant with the young pharaoh. Jochebed, Moses' mother, gave birth, and her child was taken to be slaughtered. The pharaoh continued to kill the children of the Israelites, and he had them born of his own and die until King Seti I died.

Pharaoh's wife continued to get pregnant and give birth, and they died. Tuya ordered Pharaoh to marry Asiya, but his children died. Jochebed became pregnant and gave birth to Miriam and then Aaron in the year of the pardon. Pharaoh dreamed that a child from the Israelites would overthrow his kingdom.

Jochebed gave birth to Moses, peace be upon him, and God inspired her to place him in a coffin and throw him into the Nile, under the watchful eye of his sister Miriam. The coffin arrived at Pharaoh's palace, where the maids picked it up and delivered it to Queen Asiya, who loved him for his beauty.
