Asfour sells the veils and incense that his grandmother made to Samiha’s mother, claiming that he made them for her. The neighbors believe that these veils are the reason for Samiha’s marriage, and they come to Asfour, who decides to practice magic due to the unemployment he suffers from. Asfour makes money in spite of Souad's disapproval of this activity.
