Umm Ahmed tries to convince her son to marry Fatima, the daughter of the school principal, Abu Asaad, but he doesn't care because he's busy with his students and his work as a teacher. Abu Farouk, the owner of the mechanic shop, is looking forward to marrying the teenage student, Salma.
Ahmed proposes to Fatima, but her father refuses because he wants her to marry a wealthy man. Salma falls in love with her teacher, Ahmed.
Teacher Nizar asks Abu Asaad for his daughter Fatima's hand in marriage, but Fatima refuses. Her father tries to convince her to agree, and Ahmed quarrels with Abu Farouk over Salma.
Abu Farouk asks Youssef for his sister Salma's hand in marriage and threatens to present the trust receipts he issued to him to the police. Ahmed helps him pay off the debts, and Nizar quarrels with Abu Asaad and withdraws his marriage proposal to Fatima.
Abu Asaad gives the student Walid private lessons to get closer to his father, so the latter gets close to Fatima and thinks about marrying her. Umm Ahmed tries to convince her son to marry Salma, but he refuses because of the age difference between them.
Salma quarrels with her brother over Ahmed, and the latter files a complaint against Abu Asaad with the education department for squandering the school's resources.
Abu Walid agrees with Abu Asaad to leak the exam questions to his son, the school guard settles the matter between Abu Asaad and Ahmed, and Abu Farouk returns to blackmail Youssef once again until he agrees to his marriage to Salma.
Abu Farouk throws his sister Badriya into Youssef's path to marry her, and Fatima agrees to marry Abu Walid.
Fatima marries Abu Walid and leaves her father alone. Badriya takes care of Youssef's children. Ahmed warns Youssef against cooperating with Abu Farouk again. Ahmed catches a student cheating on an exam.
Abu Walid suggests that Abu Asaad marry his sister so he doesn't have to live alone, and Badriya blames Abu Farouk for wanting to marry Salma because of the age difference between them.
A rumor spreads at school that Ahmed has a mental illness, and Badriya treats Salma and Youssef's children harshly after her marriage to Youssef.

Ahmed takes up his new job, gets to know the school's teaching staff, and discovers that illegal activities are taking place, which ignites the teacher Abdel Fattah's anger toward him.
Ahmed tries to rectify the situation at the school after discovering drug dealing among students. He becomes impressed by the teacher, Zainab, and Abu Ahmed succeeds in referring Nizar and the teacher, Tayseer, to the investigation.
