Based on the true story of music producer Phil Spector who was accused of the murder of actress Lana Clarkson, and his relationship with defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden in 2007.

Record producer Phil Spector is accused with murder. He hires Bruce Culter to defend him who asks Linda Baden for her advice. She gradually takes over the case as all the evidences are against Spector. Bringing the suspect to testify might be her only way to plant doubt in the jury's mind. She trains and rehearses him for the testimony.
