El Mo'ti meets Azzouz and tells him to preserve his property. El Bashir dreams of fame and playing the lute despite his father's objection.

After Allam is taken to the hospital, he is visited by El Bashir, who decides to study law to fulfill his father's wish; meanwhile, Manal falls for him.

As the relationship between Manal and El Bashir grows stronger, she introduces him to her family, upon which he discovers her father's interest in art.

As Manal's father establishes an association, El Bashir oversees its legal affairs. El Mo'ti quarrels with Azzouz.

El Bashir's father loses the lawsuit. The relationship between Manal and El Bashir is strengthened; meanwhile, the latter manages to perform at a children's concert.

El Bashir is distressed by not being appreciated by his boss at work, whereas Manal gets a promotion at work.

Saeed prepares to travel to Spain. Manal sends El Bashir a message telling him when she will return.

When Manal returns from travel, she discovers that her mother wants to marry her off to a wealthy man. Azzouz's disputes with El Bashir's father continue.

Souad discovers that Nagy has stolen all the money she got from singing. El Bashir meets Manal and Fouad, and they decide to go to the theater.

El Bashir takes on the filing of a civil case against Nagy for defrauding Souad, while his father buries the hatchet with Azzouz.
