When news gets leaked that Rashid has become the assistant of the Minister of Justice, his family and Fakhry's family gather to congratulate him. Everyone begins to send him requests, but Rashid refuses to sign anything for Walid Al-Basha, who forgets his bag with him.

Rashid and Salma find the bag full of dollars. Walid calls Rashid and tells him that he left the bag intentionally, but Rashid refuses to take the bribe. Wadih, Fakhry, and Shahira receive requests from people, and they promise them that they will be fulfilled through Counselor Rashid.

Ramy continues to talk about taking the money and Rashid hits him. Wadih complains to Shahira, so she goes to Rashid. Salma tells Fakhry about everything that happened, and Rashid decides not to take the position. Salma asks Rashid for a servant.

When Rashid agrees to let Salma travel to visit her sister in Beirut, Ramy complains to Wadih about the housework, and Wadih brings him and his two sisters a Filipino maid. Hanaa asks for a maid from Wadih, then Salma returns and finds the maid at the house.

Salma is annoyed by the new changes that the maid, Manila, has made at home with Rashid, Reem, Razan, and Ramy. She also begins to get jealous, which makes her ask Rashid to let the maid go. It seems that this was Rashid's plan from the start.

When Ahmed returns from traveling, Shahira and Soha think that he's a thief and hit him. Ahmed, Soha, and Shahira go to Rashid's to have lunch and stay until the evening, which bothers Salma as the electricity goes out, and she's unable to iron Rashid's clothes.

Shahira and Ahmed go to Rashid's house and spend the day there for the second day in a row. Fakhry's family also goes to Rashid's house. The electricity goes out, and it continues to go out for a week at the same time. Ahmed asks Wadih for the money he gave him.

Wadih and Ahmed import chargers and generators from China, but they claim they are from South Africa. They agree with Fakhry to make an advertisement for their company, so they convince him to buy the chargers. After getting Wadih involved, Ahmed runs away with the money.

Ramy steals Rashid's car and goes out with Qusay. They get in an accident as they hit a woman. Wadih takes them to a smuggler named Naseem. Rashid and Fakhry's families get together, and they find out that the woman is the relative of Yara, Wadih’s secretary.

Rashid refuses to help Walid with Ramy's problem. Soha brings Yara to Rashid's house to tell them that she will go to the hospital to mediate with her cousin to drop the report. Wadih tells them that Ramy and Qusay are with a friend of his, and he needs money for their stay with him.

Naseem asks Wadih for 35 thousand for each of the boys, so Rashid and Fakhry go with the rest of the money and take Ramy and Qusay. Wadih meets Adnan, a businessman who wants to invest his money in a large project, so Wadih tries to take money from Shahira and make her his partner.

Wadih invites Adnan over for lunch at Shahira's, and a mutual admiration grows between Shahira and Adnan. They begin chatting over the phone, then she changes her appearance. Salma persuades Rashid to let Razan go to a concert.

Wadih, Shahira, Adnan, and Jawad go to see the land of the project. Once there, Rashid asks for Shahira's hand from Wadih. Razan returns and tells her family that her phone was out of coverage after the bus that was taking her to the party broke down.

Rashid forgives Razan. Shahira is sad when she learns from Wadih that Adnan has traveled to his family. Abu Al-Khair, Fakhry's brother, comes with crops from the land. He turns the house upside down because of his annoying habits, which bother Hanna.

Abu Al-Khair goes to Salma's house, and he tells Wadih that he needs someone to market the crops. He agrees with Wadih and Fakhry on a project to preserve the crops in refrigerators, but he finds that Wadih has no money for the project.

Salma learns from Shahira that Wadih and Fakhry have a partnership with her brother Abu Al-Khair. Fakhry understands that Abu Al-Khair and Wadih will buy fruits from the market, then store and sell them, thereby creating a black market. Razan and Reem help Mai to prepare for the newscasters test.

Reem and Razan advise Mai to tell her family about the newscasters test and that she needs money to pass. The fridges break down and the fruits spoil, which makes Wadih and Abu Al-Khair lose the insurance deposit. Rashid hosts his relative Sahar at his home as she is preparing for her Ph.D.

Ramy gets upset when Sahar stays in his room, but when they start talking, he begins to admire her. Rashid notices that Wadih and Fakhry also admire her. Sahar goes with Reem, Razan, and Ramy to visit museums.

Salma and Rashid decide to make Sahar go to stay with Shahira, so Ramy, Wadih, then Fakhry go to meet her there, but they find out that Sahar has received a scholarship in France. A suitor visits Rashid and asks him for Reem's hand in marriage.

The family of Rashid, Fakhry, and Shahira gather to meet Tarek, Reem's suitor. Despite Reem's hesitance about him, everyone admires Tarek. Qusay remains at home, sad about what is happening. Rashid receives threatening messages from an unknown number.

Rashid asks Wadih, then Fakhry to ask about the groom and his family, so the two tell him good things about Tarek without actually asking. Rashid tells Tarek about the threatening messages, but he's not interested. Qusay asks Reem why she accepted the groom.

The family of Rashid, Fakhry, and Shahira gather to meet Tarek and his family, and they are surprised by the arrival of Walid who is Tarek's uncle. Qusay rebukes Rashid for allowing Tarek into the house. Rashid devises a plan to set Walid up.

Ramy watches Walid from afar. As Qusai watches Reem to protect her; she begins to notice that he admires her. Fakhry and Wadih try to collect information about Walid's work, so Rashid can exploit it in Saloum's case.

Fakhry brings important papers to Rashid on Walid. Reem goes out to meet Qusay, and he hints that he loves her. Fakhry remembers the whereabouts of Saloum, so he, Rashid, Wadih, and Ramy go to him. They find out that his uncle canceled his procuration for the farm, and that Walid will buy it.

Wadih misses Yara after she leaves. Salma, Reem, and Razan notice the change in Rashid. Reem catches Ramy coming home late, smelling like cigarettes. Reem notices that Qusay closes his shop during the day. Razan advises Reem to change herself to keep up with the times.

Qusai returns to open his shop, so Reem tells him that she likes his shop and can take half of it to herself. Rashid tells Salma that he feels that he is the reason for what happened to Reem with Tarek, but Reem isn't upset about it.

Reem tells Rashid that her story with Tarek can happen to any girl. Maha’s sister, Salma, arrives from Beirut, and it seems that she has a problem, but she refuses to tell Salma about it. Shahira feels sick because of her fear for her son Ahmed.

Maha tells Salma, Rashid, and Fakhry that her husband is cheating on her, so Hanaa and Salma begin to worry that Rashid and Fakhry will do the same. Razan tells Reem about Qaher Al-Layl (Conqueror of the Night), the one she's chatting with on Facebook. Maha refuses to take her husband's calls.

Razan goes to meet Qaher Al-Layl, and she discovers that Walid sent him with a message to Rashid. Reem advises Razan to tell her father. Maha's husband asks her to forgive him, so she travels to see him.

Reem tells Salma why Rashid is angry with her and Razan. Qusay tells Mai about his love for Reem, and Reem goes to apologize to Qusay for not responding to him. Rashid falls unconscious when he quarrels with Ramy because of the exams.

Wadih returns from traveling, so he goes with Shahira and Soha to check on Rashid's health. Rashid forgives both Reem and Razan. Fou'ad comes to Rashid to talk with him about Walid's case. Hanaa tries to convince Fakhry to take the bribe.

Qusay sends a gift to Reem with Mai. Fakhry does a favor for the person who offered him a bribe. Shahira stipulates that Wadih should return the money that she loaned him. She calls Ahmed and asks him to finish his work and return. Salma is shocked that Fou'ad is getting engaged.

Fakhry is insulted by the way the man offers him the bribe, and he decides to give him back the money. Qusay confesses to Reem that he's been in love with her for a long time. Rashid tells Walid that he will not let him be, and that he has documents against him.
