Doctor Medhat insists that his daughter, Doctor Sawsan, travel abroad to complete her studies and postpone her engagement to Majd, but the latter surprises everyone by offering her an engagement ring hours before she travels.
Medhat's brother Mounir discovers that he has cancer. He worries about his wife and unborn son. Doctor Omar accidentally causes the death of his aunt Umm Hind. Siham returns from abroad after her husband's death.
Siham remembers the story of her love for Medhat and how she left him because of his mother’s interference in their private affairs. Mounir considers getting his wife to have an abortion to prevent his son from being orphaned. When Medhat finds out, he forces him to undergo dangerous surgery.
Doctor Ghada turns to Dr. Rashid to help her treat her mother. Medhat rejects Siham’s offer to be his partner in the hospital with her money. Sawsan struggles academically because her father has forced her to study surgery. Mounir’s wife, Faten, gives birth to her child.
Siham decides to take revenge on Medhat for ignoring her, so she offers Ghada treatment for her mother in exchange for getting closer to Medhat and luring him into her trap, but Ghada likes Omar.
Siham asks her assistant Sabri to collect information about Ghada’s past. Medhat is impressed by the latter’s skills in the operating room. Sawsan decides to specialize in pediatrics. Mounir’s condition worsens and he is taken to the hospital.
Siham feels jealous of Medhat’s closeness to Ghada, and Hind's father refuses to marry his daughter to Omar. Siham, along with Sabri, seeks to exploit the problems between Majd and Medhat to her advantage.
Medhat is concerned about Ghada's mother's illness, and Ghada seeks to support Omar in his problems. Mounir dies in the hospital. Siham seeks to convince Majd to direct a series she is producing.
Majd hesitates to cooperate with Siham. Medhat rejects Ghada's attempt to get closer to Omar under the pretext of helping him return to work in operations, and Rashid warns Medhat not to fall in love with Ghada.
Omar's father falls ill and is taken to the hospital. His son refuses to perform surgery on him for fear of causing his death. Medhat tells Rashid of his desire to marry Ghada, who confesses to Faten about her agreement with Siham.
Ghada rejects Omar's proposal to marry her. Siham decides to take advantage of the nurse Fathia's husband to continue her revenge on Medhat. Sawsan returns from abroad and resents Ghada's closeness to her father.

Ghada informs Medhat of the success of her mother's operation abroad. Siham pressures Majd to continue his cooperation with her. Fathia quarrels with her husband and believes that he has cheated on her.
Ghada returns from her trip and tells Medhat that she has donated her kidney to save her mother. Sawsan is forced to pay the fee of the release clause to Siham so that Majd can end his contract with her. Sawsan objects to her father's proposal to marry Ghada.
Sabri tries to convince Medhat that he was the reason for his separation from Siham in the past. Medhat sets a date for his wedding to Ghada, so Siham decides to continue with her plan and asks Fathia’s husband to work in Medhat’s medical laboratory.
Siham exposes Ghada in front of Medhat and tells him that they have plotted to make him fall in Ghada's trap. Medhat decides to stay away from Ghada. Fathia's husband places spoiled medical materials in Medhat's laboratory, but the police arrest him before he travels abroad.
