The lives of spoiled sisters Nora and Mary turn upside down when they become broke after their father dies. They move in with their aunt, where they adjust to living a simple life while learning the meaning of family.
When their father dies at his 55th birthday, Mary and Nora find themselves completely broke, and forced to move in with their aunt in Los Angeles. Mary, the younger sister, has been spoilt by her father and is ignorant of Spanish. Her older sister convinces her to finish college while Nora finds a job as an intern in a film law. Eventually, the sisters love and life show the sisters how rich their new destination is.
