The thief, Musharat, escapes from the police and plots to take revenge on Bakkar after he got him imprisoned. As Musharat kidnaps Bakkar and Habiba, the goat, Rashida, succeeds in untying them, and the policemen arrest Musharat.

Faris suffers because of his parents' harsh treatment of him after the birth of his little brother, Nuri. Meanwhile, Bakkar and Hamam try to help him overcome his glumness and accept his baby brother.

As Faris takes his brother, Nuri, to the Nile to receive blessings, Nuri falls, whereupon Bakkar and Faris try to save him before the intervention of the fisherman, Asran.

The charlatan Shanshan and his assistant, Habata, hatch a plan to rob Salato's shop in order to convince the townspeople that they can get his money back, and as they gain the people's trust, they make money off them.

Shanshan and Habata rob Salato's shop, upon which he goes crazy. As Habata tells Salato that he knows a man who can restore his money, he guides him to the charlatan Shanshan, who offers him to return his money in exchange for taking a quarter of it.

Salato steals the goat, Rashida, and gives it to Shanshan and Habata. As Karima tells Bakkar that Rashida is with the charlatan Shanshan, Bakkar goes to bring her back, but Habata manages to catch him.

Karima unties Bakkar, who escapes from the charlatans' tent and goes to expose them in front of the people of the town, after which the police arrest Shanshan and Habata.

Bakkar goes with his uncle, Sidon, to the camel market and learns that his uncle wants to sell his camel, Jeljel, but his attempts to persuade him to give up on the idea fail.

After Sidon sells the camel, Jeljel, to the butcher, the gang of Master Khafeef asks Sidon for the money he got in exchange for selling the camel and threatens the people with weapons.

Jeljel follows his master, Sidon, and rescues him from the hands of the gang of Master Khafeef, and the police come and arrest the gang.

When Metwally learns about Said's place, he goes there to avenge his brother's death. Said disguises himself as a clown and tells Bakkar and Hassouna his story.

Bakkar saves Said from death after being shot by Metwally, after which Said saves Metwally from death, whereupon the latter forgives him.

Bakkar and his friend, Habiba, decide to participate in the new school that the townspeople built with their own efforts and personal donations by gifting the school the flag of Egypt.

Makki tells Bakkar the story of the abandoned palace in the town and how its owner has buried a great treasure that whoever finds it will become the richest person in town, after which Bakkar finds the treasure map by chance.

Bakkar tells his friend, Hamam, that he has found the treasure map of the abandoned palace. As the two go to the palace, they are faced with a surprise.

After Bakkar and Hamam discover that the treasure is a collection of valuable old books, Bakkar finds a paper confirming the owner's donation of the palace after his death to his neighbor, Mr. Makki, who decides to convert the palace into a school to teach reading and writing.

Hamam and Faris knock on their friend Bakkar's door to go together on the Karnak Temple trip in Luxor. An old man tells the children about the Karnak Temple and its great history.

Bakkar sees an old man in the temple chasing him wherever he goes, then the old man tells him that he'll take him on an extraordinary journey inside the temple.

As the old man takes Bakkar into the world of the ancient pharaohs, Bakkar escapes from the pharaohs and sees Thebes as it was in the time of the pharaohs.

The chief of the Hittites arrests Bakkar after they believe that he is the young pharaoh. Bakkar meets the young pharaoh who looks exactly like him.

Bakkar and the young pharaoh succeed in escaping from the Hittites, but the chief of the Hittites follows them and catches the pharaoh, after which Bakkar appears in the same clothes as the young pharaoh, upon which the man gets confused between them.

After Bakkar saves the young pharaoh from the chief of the Hittites, the pharaoh orders that a statue of him be made inside the temple. The man tells the children the story of the new statue that appeared in the temple, which looks exactly like Bakkar.

After Habiba saves Zakia from Gordony's dog, she tells Bakkar that she will perform at the school's charity party. Shalboun and his gang agree to steal the school's money.

Shalboun and his gang try to catch Habiba after she heard them talking about the theft of the charity party's money. As Habiba escapes from Shalboun, he finds her, then the dog rescues her.

As Bakkar finds himself in the shop of the sculptor, Abdullah, he suddenly falls asleep in the shop and wakes up to find the statues talking and uttering strangely to him.

Bakkar suggests to the statues that he buy them in order to make them stay in Abdullah's shop and not to be harmed or sold. Bakkar, with the help of the statues, sculpts a new statue which gains the admiration of a rich man who buys it, and the problem is solved.

Bakkar travels with his uncle, Sidon, to the village and meets Abdul Basit in order to sell the date crop. Bakkar gets to know a girl named Zubaydah.

Adham meets Bakkar and tells him that he is going to the place of the deserted waterwheel, where the rest of the villagers don't go. Zubaydah falls in the area of the waterwheel and is miraculously rescued by Bakkar and Adham.
