Master Shahran convinces his brother Sobhy to wed Abu Samir's daughter. Afaf and her sweetheart Nader get in trouble after she goes to his house.

Nader decides to wed Afaf to get ahead of any problems. Shahran helps Abu Hashem (Hashem's father) with a crisis. Youssef's mother suffers from her husband's miserliness.

When Nader is blackmailed by someone who saw Afaf in his house, he enlists Shahran's help to find a solution to his problem.

Sobhy prepares to wed Abu Samir's daughter. Shahran helps Nader with his problem.

Shahran asks Abu Bakry (Bakry's father) for Afaf's hand in marriage to Nader. When Abu Abdu (Abdu's father) harasses the neighborhood's people, Shahran stands up to him.

As Wawy sets a trap for Shahran and Sobhy, he ends up setting their shop on fire. Sobhy gets murdered.

As Shahran breaks down in the wake of Sobhy's death, he vows to avenge his brother. Nawal threatens Afaf in order to seize her house.

Shahran gathers Sobhy's friends to avenge him. Al-Ghoul learns that Abu Youssef (Youssef's father) has allied with Abu Abdu and Marzouk to take revenge on Shahran.

As Abu Hamza (Hamza's father) returns to the neighborhood, he decides to take revenge on those who victimized Sobhy. Abu Hamza calms Al-Ghoul down.

Afaf's health deteriorates after Nawal threatens her. Shahran asks Abu Bakry to wed Afaf to Nader.

Khaled's mother tries to help Ma'moun and asks her brother to find him a job. The chief threatens Abu Youssef and vows retribution if he turns out to be involved in Sobhy's murder. The chief puts Abu Abdu under surveillance.

When Duz captures Koky, Hambou helps the latter escape. Koky robs Wawy who vows revenge.

Chief Abu Hamza tries to identify Sobhy's killer after they find the killer's dagger. Afaf wakes up from her coma after Nader comforts her.

Duz informs the judge that Abu Abdu and his men have been working with Wawy to kill the neighborhood chief. Abu Abdu asks Marzouk to kill Shahran and Chief Abu Hamza.

The chief commends Wawy for helping the neighborhood people. Shahran kills Abu Abdu to avenge his brother. When Nader drowns in a well, the grief-stricken Afaf passes away from the shock.

It's revealed that Abu Abdu is still alive and that Marzouk has been helping him recover. The judge learns that Abu Youssef and Marzouk are in cahoots with Abu Abdu. However, the truth about Nazir's betrayal remains hidden.

Umm Gamal (Gamal's mother) asks her brother not to harm Abu Youssef for his family's sake. Nazir tells Fattah's father about Marzouk's request to return to the neighborhood.

Shahran grows suspicious of Nazir, who burns Abu Abdu's shop down and steals his money. When Abu Bakry learns of Nawal's plot to take Afaf's house, he gives her the house in exchange for not smearing Afaf's name.

Umm Gamal helps Abu Youssef's family, but ensures Abu Youssef's departure from the neighborhood. Nazir hides the money he stole from Abu Abdu.

Shahran decides to forgive Abu Youssef for his family's sake. Marzouk robs Nazir.

Shahran decides to travel after he expands his business with his friend Ma'moun. As Abu Abdu kidnaps Nazir, Duz grows suspicious of him after he disappears from the neighborhood.

Abu Abdu asks Nazir to kill the chief in order to earn his forgiveness. With Abu Hashem's help, Shahran manages to buy new merchandise.

Nawal incites Bakry against his sister Laila. Nazir starts to enact Abu Abdu's plans. Nawal asks Shamia to help her.

Abu Abdu kills Marzouk after the latter divulges the location of the gold. However, Koky gets there first and steals the gold. Shahran informs his sister of his wish to wed Shahinaz.

Nazir kills Chief Abu Hamza. The judge asks Shahran to find Osama a job. Laila catches wind of Nawal's plot.

Due to his attachment to Shahinaz, Shahran decides to travel again. The neighborhood men nominate Shahran as Abu Hamza's successor, but he refuses.

As Shahinaz makes her way to the Levant, she runs into Ma'moun and catches feelings for him. Her feelings are reciprocated by Ma'moun.

Koky grows repentant and gives the money back to Wawy. Abu Abdu frees his men. Ignorant of the fact that she is Shahran's sweetheart, Ma'moun weds Shahinaz. Shahran is shocked when he learns of their marriage.

Ma'moun decides to dissolve his partnership with Shahran and return to his family. Koky confesses that he is the one who killed Sobhy and begs Shahran for forgiveness.

Abu Abdu kills Umm Gamal. As he vows revenge on Shahran, he poisons the people of the neighborhood and frames Shahran. Shahran gets arrested, and Abu Abdu returns to the neighborhood to become its chief.

The neighborhood people enlist Sheikh Abdel Galil's help to put an end to Abu Abdu's tyranny. Ma'moun secretly helps Shahran who returns to the neighborhood. The people take revenge on Abu Abdu and his men. Nabila kills Abu Abdu.
