Abu Huda, a lawyer, is admitted to the hospital due to sudden pain. Fawaz, a former fighter who got imprisoned as a widower and now lives with his mother, is appointed as the head of an investigation committee in the ministry.

Magda the secretary helps Fawaz choose the operations room to combat corruption, while Abu Karim is appointed to make coffee and tea for Fawaz.

Abu Huda returns to work despite his illness. As for Fawaz, he meets with the minister and the head of the flour room to discuss the issue of distributing the flour tender to merchants.

Abu Ahmed, Abu Huda's friend, meets Fawaz to talk about the flour tender. Khaled gets close to Mona, while Soha wants to complain about Samir to the brigadier general.

Abu Ahmed asks Abu Huda to intervene with Fawaz to win the flour tender. Fawaz searches for information about Abu Ahmed and asks his friend Muhannad to work with him on the investigation committee.

Fawaz confronts Abu Ahmed about his lack of integrity, while Magda is absent from the office, and he worries about her. Samir quarrels with two young men who tried to harass Soha.

Fawaz visits Magda at her home because of her absence from the company and her illness. Samir goes to college, and Khaled tries to lift his spirits.

Samir gets into a car accident by Fawaz, who visits him at his home and at the college, so Samir discovers that he is Soha's father. An employee tries to steal the tender papers from Fawaz's office to hand them over to Abu Ahmed.

Fawaz's mother is taken to the hospital due to a health problem, and Fawaz and his children fear for her. Fawaz discovers that the errand boy is the one who entered his office to steal the documents.

Abu Huda asks his daughter to give a sum of money to her husband Kamal, but she refuses, whereupon Kamal grieves over his financial situation, and Soha tries to comfort him.

The mother and Fawaz's children believe that their father is in a relationship with Magda and will marry her, but he denies it, after which he tells the deputy minister that Abu Ahmed bribed him to make him win the flour tender.

A gang attacks Fawaz, steals his car, and beats him. Abu Huda meets Muhannad at Fawaz's house while visiting him.

Magda visits Fawaz again to check on him following the accident he suffered. Soha's suspicions about her father's relationship with Magda are confirmed, while the deputy minister tries to award the tender to Abu Ahmed.

Muhannad agrees with Fawaz to work for Abu Ahmed and monitor him. Magda asks Fawaz to take care of her. Kamal's psychological condition worsens because he cannot find a job and is receiving money from his father.

Samir goes with his father to propose to Suha, but Fawaz, as soon as he sees Abu Samir, kicks him out, which astonishes everyone. Abu Huda gets very surprised when he sees Muhannad in Abu Ahmed's office.

Fawaz tells his daughter the truth about Samir's father, which is that he was an officer and used to torture him in prison. Abu Ahmed slanders Fawaz, hinting at his relationship with Magda.

Samir asks Fawaz to forgive his father, hoping to get an opportunity to marry Soha, but Fawaz refuses. Abu Huda becomes ill and Fawaz takes him to the hospital.

Fawaz goes to see Samir's father and reproaches him for all the evil he did during the previous regime, while Samir wants to commit suicide. Muhannad saves Fawaz again from Abu Ahmed's gang.

As the deputy minister visits the company of Abu Ahmed's company, the latter gets astonished. Kamal tries to overcome his problem and not drink every night.

Samir wants to commit suicide. Muhannad gives Fawaz a copy of the tender's papers, which he took from Abu Ahmed's office, and tells him that Hassan stole it from his office at the time.

Abu Samir tells Fawaz the truth about Abu Huda and that he was the one who reported the organization's movements to the police. Fawaz asks Kamal to leave Huda and come to live in the house, while Abu Ahmed discovers the truth about Muhannad and locks him in.

Fawaz remembers how he heard the news of his wife's sudden death while he was in prison, which saddens him. Huda tells her father that Kamal left her to fulfill his father's wish, while Soha tries to persuade Samir to return to his house.

Abu Huda feels remorse when he remembers what he did to Khalil, their fellow inmate, and how he got him involved with the police. Fawaz's relationship with Magda develops, and he tells her his whole story. Samir's father dies of a heart attack.

Abu Ahmed's men release Muhannad, but the police come at the last moment and rescue him and take him to the hospital. Kamal learns the truth about Abu Huda, while the Hajja rejoices at the death of Nawaf, Samir's father.

Abu Karim is arrested for stealing documents from Fawaz's office. Fawaz threatens Abu Ahmed that if he does not tell him about Muhannad's whereabouts, he will complain to the police.

Abu Ahmed threatens Fawaz that he will kidnap his young son if he reports him to the police. Huda visits her father and is surprised by the condition he is in.

Fawaz rejoices at Abu Samir's death and tells his mother that he admires Magda. Abu Huda's condition worsens and he tries to commit suicide. Abu Ahmed sends his men to fire bullets at Fawaz's house to scare him.

Fawaz takes Abu Huda to the hospital and saves him from death, and the relationship between Suha and Samir continues.

Abu Ahmed's gang is arrested after firing a bullet at Fawaz but injuring Samir while he was defending him. Fawaz agrees to wed his daughter Soha to Samir. Muhannad is discharged from the hospital.
