When Eid opposes Insherah and Mejahid's divorce, Gamal and Haniya stand up to him. Khalil asks Adly to leave Rouh under his protection.
Khalil puts Rouh to work to guide him to pharaonic tombs. Rozza and Hekmat continue their search for shelter after the fire separates them from Mansour.
Hossam warns Gamal that Rouh is in danger due to her work with Khalil, and asks him to do something. Rouh puts a curse on Mariam that leaves the latter suffering from permanent dizziness.
When Ne'mat threatens Rouh, the latter uses her magic to kill the birds that Ne'mat is raising. Hany threatens Mariam to get her to abort the baby.
Hossam continues to look after Afkar and tries to get her on the straight and narrow. When Rozza's brother reveals that Hossam is Rozza's son with Adly, Adly orders Rozza and Hekmat killed.
Adly accuses Ne'mat of robbing his safe. As Eid breaks into Haniya's house, he steals her money and his children's money before fleeing. Eid weds a young girl, but he gets paralyzed at the wedding.
Adly kicks Mansour out of the villa. As Mariam's health goes downhill, she is rushed to the hospital to save the baby. Khalil searches for Rouh after she vanishes.
On Adly's orders, Zalata breaks into Rozza and Hekmat's house to kill them, but the women capture him. Hossam continues to look for Rouh.
Zalata confesses to Rozza and Hekmat that Adly ordered him to kill them. Ne'mat is released when the police are unable to get the robbery charges to stick. The townspeople grow more suspicious of the relationship with Afkar and Hossam.
When the townspeople discover that Afkar and Hossam are not related, Hossam tries to resolve the issue by marrying Afkar. Rouh comes back and goes to stay with Adly.
Rouh offers to wed Hany in exchange for him divorcing Mariam, which he agrees to. Adly refuses to give Rouh to Khalil as they agreed before.
Adly learns of Hossam and Afkar's marriage. As Mariam tries to get revenge on Rouh by burning her, she finds that she is no match for Rouh's magic.
Mejahid divorces Insherah. Mansour uses his knowledge of Adly's antiquities trade to pressure him into returning to his job as a guard.
Hany grows wroth when Rouh evades him. Adly orders Hossam to bring Afkar to live with them. As Rouh's plots drive a wedge between Mariam and Afkar, Hossam asks Afkar to stay away from Rouh.
Ne'mat goes back to her work as a maid in Adly's house. Mariam and Ne'mat join forces to get revenge on Rouh and combat her sorcery.
Mariam discovers that Rouh has deceived both Hany and his brother Hesham, and made each of them think that she loves him. Mansour searches for Shaf'i.
Tension rises between Hany and Hesham as the competition over Rouh heats up. Hany threatens Hesham to stay away from Rouh. Hossam visits Rozza and Hekmat and promises to protect them from his father.
The conflict between Hany and Hesham reaches a boiling point, causing Hany to shoot his brother and escape. Adly looks for Hesham after the latter disappears.
Mansour proposes to Fula, who agrees and forces him to give her all his money before she escapes. The police find Hesham's body. Gamila is rushed to the hospital when she learns of Hesham's demise.
Al-Layth Al-Hafy appears to Rouh and orders her to obey him. Gamila is released from the hospital. Hossam suspects that Hany is involved in Hesham's murder. Rouh puts a spell on Khalil that causes him to go down with a mysterious illness.
When Shahira eavesdrops on Hany and Mariam, she learns that Hany killed Hesham. Rouh tells Hossam that Hany is behind the murder. Hany tries to convince his father that Khalil is the one who killed Hesham.
Khalil recuperates. Afkar gets a shock when she learns of Hossam's relationship with Rouh and the love he has for her.
Al-Layth Al-Hafy takes control of Rouh's body to separate her and Hossam. When Mejahid gets implicated in various crimes, he takes refuge in Eid's house, but Gamal refuses to help him to evade arrest.
To protect her inheritance, Mariam tries to prevent her father, Khalil, from getting married. Mejahid enlists Mansour's help to hide from the police in exchange for giving Mansour a treasure.
Hossam rebukes Mariam for poisoning Afkar's mind and causing Hany to kill Hesham. Khalil marries Asmaa.
Adly tasks Mansour to kill Khalil in exchange for money. As Hany takes Mariam on a boat ride, he ends up throwing her overboard to get rid of her.
Gamila suspects that Rouh and Adly are involved. Hossam kidnaps Rouh to try and exorcise Al-Layth Al-Hafy from her body, but his attempt fails. Khalil is rushed to the hospital in the wake of Mariam's death.
Mansour confesses to Adly that an evil spirit has taken control of Rouh's body. Khalil discovers that Asmaa is pregnant.
Gamila tries to get Adly to tell her about Al-Layth Al-Hafy, who was murdered and returned to possess Rouh's body to get revenge. Gamal weds Ahlam. Khalil kidnaps Hany.
Rouh kidnaps Ne'mat and tortures her as revenge for what Ne'mat did to Rouh's mother. Adly and Hany are killed by outlaws. Gamal, Hossam, and Bekhita exorcise Al-Layth from Rouh's body.
