Amina is overjoyed because of her promotion at work, and her friend Sara helps her with her wedding dress. Amina meets her fiancé Omar, and after she has done some medical tests, her uncle, Dr. Adel, tells her she has leukemia.

Amina's uncle tries to persuade her to run more tests and start treatment. Amina meets Selim in an event for cancer awareness.

While visiting her father's grave, Amina meets a girl named Shahd, who turns out to be her sister. Amina tells Omar about her condition.

Amina's uncle advises her not to get married until she gets better. Amina's sister, Alyiaa finds out about Amina's illness. Amina and Sara go to Alexandria to meet Shahd and she meets them poorly.

Amina blames her uncle for not telling her that her father was married and that she has a half-sister. Amina's mother, Nadia, argues with her over her delay in starting treatment.

Amina participates in a session for cancer patients and she finds Selim there, as he has a brain tumor. Sara asks her ex-husband to take their son Ziad for some time.

Amina goes to the hospital for treatment, and Selim checks up on her. Shahd gets fired from her job.

Amina begins chemotherapy, and she starts losing her hair. Alyiaa discovers that Hassan, the restaurant owner, was married and has a daughter.

After her first treatment session, Amina leaves the hospital and Omar panics on seeing her bald. Amina calls Selim after knowing that he collapsed. Omar cancels the wedding reservations.

Amina picks a wig to wear. Adel tells Shahd about Amina's illness and asks her to help her have a bone marrow transplant. Omar argues with Amina over her going out with a group of patients along with Selim.

Nadia goes with Adel to meet Shahd and her mother. Shahd agrees to run some tests prior to the operation. Amina and Omar get into another argument.

Amina and Selim go to a cancer retreat for meditation and rest. Alyiaa and Hassan get into an argument. Selim tells Amina that he refuses to have the surgery and wants to live on his own terms.

Amina explains to Omar that there is nothing going on between her and Selim, but he breaks up with her anyway. One of the cancer patients, Heba, throws a party and invites Amina and Selim.

The doctor advises Selim to undergo surgery urgently. Amina suggests she and Selim embark on new adventures and do some crazy stuff, like meeting her old crush, for example.

Amina goes to have dinner with Selim and they smoke weed, which negatively affects her health.

Nadia blames Selim for what happened to Amina and tells him to stay away from her. After running some tests, Amina learns she is cured of cancer.

Nadia throws a party on the occasion of Amina becoming cancer-free, and Amina invites Selim. Omar calls Shahd after feeling attracted to her.

Omar meets Shahd without knowing that she is Amina's half-sister. Selim goes back to his reckless life and goes home with a girl from the nightclub.

Adel and Nadia used to be in love before his brother married her. Amina confesses her love to Selim and he proposes to her.

Adel wants to marry Nadia. Selim decides to have the surgery and the operation is a success.

Sara returns back to her work as a flight attendant. Selim and Amina get married. Selim's secretary tells him that she's pregnant with his child.

Selim asks his secretary to have an abortion. Amina wants Shahd to leave Omar. Sara gets into a relationship with Amina's friend. Hassan proposes to Alyiaa.

Amina tries to get pregnant and Selim's condition improves after the operation. Amina's friend proposes to Sara, but she's hesitant.

Shahd tells Amina about the secret relationship between Nadia and Adel. Amina's attempts at pregnancy fail and Selim tries to convince her to adopt a child.

Amina tells her mother that she's okay with her marrying Adel. Selim tells his father that he changed his mind regarding having Dalia the secretary to abort, and that he will take care of the baby. Hassan quarrels with Alyiaa and he slaps her.

Amina finds out that Selim has a child. Omar wants his relationship with Shahd to be a secret, but she refuses. Sara's ex-husband finds out about her new relationship and thinks that she's an unfit mother.

Dr. Adel tells Amina that the cancer is back, and she refuses to go through the treatment loop again.

Selim tries to convince Amina to start treatment and she wants to live the remainder of her life at peace. Hassan hits Alyiaa after she tells him to postpone the wedding. Amina meets Selim's child, Yehia, for the first time.

Amina brings Yehia to live with them. Sara decides not to get involved in any relationship so that she won't lose her son. Alyiaa breaks off her engagement with Hassan. Amina travels with Selim and they have a car accident.

Selim is comatose and Heba comes to visit him, which makes Amina decide to start treatment and she is cancer-free once more. A year later, Selim wakes from his coma and the family gathers to celebrate Yehia's birthday.
