Hassan travels and leaves his fiancée, Ward, who remains at the train station until she loses consciousness. The station supervisor believes that she is dead, so he informs the police, who investigate the matter. The doctor makes sure that she is still alive and takes her to the hospital.

In a flashback, Hassan tells Ward of his love for her. Azouz works in the circus, while businessman Akram exposes the minister’s corruption at the honoring ceremony, and Hassan asks doctor Hisham to treat his mother.

Ward tries to find out what is going on between Shawq and Hassan; Zikra starts working in Abeer’s atelier; Al Rashidi celebrates his son Hassan’s success at his studies.

Hassan's mother is saddened by her daughter's heart disease, which prevents her from getting married. Dr. Ali remembers how he was raised as an orphan in more than one home. Zikra is upset that her stepfather harassed her, and Akram meets her in Abeer's atelier.

Ward tells Hassan's mother about a dream she had about Hassan. Driven by anger after Hassan did not testify in his favor at the university council, Ezzat, the university professor, threatens that he will fail him in college and accuses him of beating him.

Al Rashidi asks Jumaa to visit his sister, Hassan's mother, because she is ill. Zikra is upset when her stepfather goes through her clothes, and Ali tells Hisham that Faten is trying to get closer to him.

As Hassan is expelled from the university, he thinks about suing Ezzat, and he hides the matter from his family. Ward confronts Hassan about his relationship with Shawq.

Abdel Moati proposes to Moselhi's daughter; Al Rashidi tries to convince his son Hassan to work as an engineer away from the port; Azouz avoids meeting his relatives.

Azouz reveals to Hassan that his real name is Diab and that he is fleeing a blood feud in his hometown. Ali meets the employee, Ward, at the hospital and feels attracted to her. Zikra tells her mother that her husband is harassing her.

Khairy proposes to Nadia, but her father refuses due to her illness. Abdel Moati’s mother puts her son in an awkward position when she tells Moselhi and his daughter that he is unemployed.

Hanan advises her friend Zikra to get closer to the wealthy Akram, who has an argument with Hassan when the latter refuses to let one of Akram's boats sail due to technical defects.

Akram causes Hassan to be fired from work at the port, and Zikra agrees to meet Akram and allows him to get closer to her.

Hassan apologizes to Akram and agrees to work in his factory. Abdel Moati asks to work for Mansour so that Moselhi will agree to his marriage to his daughter. Hassan's father dies, and Abeer fires Zikra from work.

Nour complains to Adel about her harsh life with Akram, who threatens Zikra for staying away from him. Hassan gets fired after he discovers tampering with the machine papers at Akram’s factory.

Hassan asks Zika to delay the passage of Akram's shipment in order to avenge himself, while he decides to expose the corruption at the port and tricks Akram to work for him again. Azouz discovers that Nadia is Hassan's sister. Abdel Moati works as a security guard at the museum.

Akram agrees to have Hassan return to work for him. Ward likes Ali's novels, while her father returns from his travels. Zikra is forced to return to Akram after she leaves home after her stepfather attempted to rape her.

As Hassan warns Akram about Adel, he is surprised to learn that he works with Ezzat through Akram. Soraya resents having Zikra stay at her house in accordance with Akram’s request. An enraged Hassan rejects Azouz’s proposal to marry his sister Nadia.

Jumaa tries to convince Hassan to agree to the marriage of Nadia and Azouz. Soraya is jealous of Akram's special attention to Zikra. Somaya and Islam join demonstrations in the university. Abdel Moati steals a statue from the museum that resembles his beloved, Moselhi's daughter.

Somaya tells her mother that she loves her classmate Islam. The police arrest Abdel Moati for stealing the ancient statue. Akram warns Adel not to work against him. The Pasha is taken by Zikra, so Akram forces her to sleep with him.

Zikra quarrels with Akram about her miserable situation; Abdel Moati is raped in prison; Dr. Irfan tells Somaya of his love for her; Saleh resents Hassan’s closeness to Akram.

Akram accuses Hassan of theft after the latter defends Zikra. Hassan is arrested and sentenced to prison, while Zikra decides to return to the Pasha to take revenge on Akram.

Abdel Moati tells Hassan the reason for his imprisonment, and Zikra tells the Pasha why she wants to take revenge on Akram, so he reports him to the police, and Hassan and Akram meet in prison.

Faten complains to Hisham about Ali's love for Ward. Azouz takes care of Hassan's family throughout his imprisonment. After his release from prison, Hassan decides to take revenge on everyone who hurt him. Saleh tells Akram that Adel is seeing Nour.

In a flashback, Hassan decides to travel and leave Ward, whom Ali looks after throughout her illness. Hassan meets Akram and Zikra, and the latter gets close to Hassan and falls in love with him.

Zikra is worried about the Pasha finding out about her relationship with Hassan. As Ali takes Ward home so that her psychological state will improve, he tries to find out what happened between her and Hassan before he left. Azouz tells Nadia about his escape from a vendetta.

Nour and Adel die in a serious accident, and it's revealed that Akram planned with Hassan to get rid of them after his release from prison. Ali travels to Cairo to search for Hassan, and asks Somaya to help him find him.

Islam tells Ali that he used to know Hassan while they were in prison. Omar advises Akram to flee abroad due to the Pasha’s anger at him for killing Nour and Adel. Akram threatens Hassan with harming his family and asks him to get rid of the Pasha and Zikra.

Hassan enlists the help of Zika to carry out his plan to kill the Pasha. Somaya tells Irfan's wife of her pregnancy by him. Ali tells Hassan what happened to Ward after his travel. Azouz returns after the problem of the vendetta in his hometown is solved.

Ward's health condition deteriorates and she is taken to the hospital. Hassan discovers Ali's love for Ward, then he kills the Pasha after the latter discovers Zikra's relationship with Hassan.

Hassan refuses to kill Zikra, Saleh is imprisoned, and Ali sacrifices his love for Ward and accompanies Hassan to return to her.
