In Dunwich, New England, a priest hangs himself in the church graveyard, opening hell and resurrecting the dead. New York City reporter Peter and teenage psychic Mary come to the town to partner up with psychiatrist Jerry and patient Sandra to lock the gates before All Saints Day, otherwise, the dead are going to rise up and murder the living.
