When Rahma undergoes the medical checkup required for her parliamentary seat, she is shocked to discover that her sister's psychiatrist is in charge of her psychological evaluation. Her attempt to keep her past hidden ends with her killing the psychiatrist.
The police investigate the psychiatrist's murder. The neighbor's son learns of Dina's affair with Omar. Ezz vows revenge on those who got him imprisoned. Rahma's mother, who has Alzheimer's, wanders off.
Ezz confronts Rahma and reflects on how she framed him for a crime he didn't commit. Rahma's mother is kidnapped. When Ahmed tells Omar about his suspicion that Dina is cheating on him, Omar thinks that Ahmed suspects his and Dina's affair.
Rahma has 48 hours to pay the kidnappers to get her mother back. Ahmed reveals his suspicions to his mother. Dina tries to bribe the neighbor's kid who saw her with Omar. Omar tries to break things off with Dina. Dina is shocked to find her mother-in-law in her house.
Karim tells Engy about Dina and Omar. Ezz is shocked to discover that Rahma reported her mother's kidnapping to the police. Rahma's mother suffers from a diabetic coma and is transferred to the hospital.
Ahmed's mother finds a hidden SIM card in Dina's bag. Mariam discovers that her husband Samer was fired for accepting bribes. Rahma learns that Dina is cheating on her husband and that Engy's father doesn't acknowledge her.
As Rahma looks for the record of Maha's session with the psychiatrist, she leaks what she knew about Dina and Engy and sends them threatening messages. Ezz tries to talk Rahma into taking him back. Dina tries to commit suicide after receiving Rahma's texts.
One of Ezz's men betrays him to Rahma. Ahmed feels guilty after Dina's suicide attempt. Engy is arrested. When Omar tries to find out who is behind the threatening texts, he discovers that the number is registered to Engy.
Ezz learns that Rahma knows that he is the one who kidnapped her mother. When Rahma taunts him and tells him that she only married him for his money, he vows revenge and talks to a reporter about what he knows about Rahma.
Ezz reveals that Rahma's degree is forged and her books are plagiarized. Hesham starts to suspect that his wife was having an affair with her psychiatrist. Rahma tries to win Dina over.
Dina and Ahmed have a heart-to-heart talk. Samer enlists Rahma's help to get a job. Hesham's second wife visits him at the compound. Omar kicks Dina out when he learns that she told the psychiatrist about their affair.
Rahma's attempt to control the damage to her reputation is derailed when one of Ezz's men brings up Maha's mental illness on air. When Dina confronts Engy about the texts, Engy tells her that she got threatening texts as well. Omar tries to find the record of Dina's sessions with the psychiatrist.
Engy manages to prove her innocence by finding the person who sold Rahma the SIM card. Rahma's spy, Mido, is kidnapped.
Rahma tries to sabotage Engy's marriage by sending Hesham a record of Engy's session with the psychiatrist. Hesham turns the record to the police to help clear Engy's name. Mido tells Rahma of the deal Ezz offered him.
Dina is surprised when she is called in for questioning. Rahma fakes an advanced cancer diagnosis to entrap Ezz who decides to help her when he learns of her illness.
Ahmed suspects that Samer is Dina's lover. Omar refuses to help Dina who loses it when she discovers his feelings for Amal. Ahmed tries to convince Dina to let him attend her questioning.
When Mariam gets a list of all of Galal's patients over the last 10 years, she recognizes Maha's name. Ezz kidnaps Engy during a prison transfer. Amal and Dina are questioned in Engy's case.
Dina is relieved when the investigation is forestalled due to Engy's disappearance. Amal is furious that Mariam took her dead brother's records. Rahma tries to find out what happened to Engy after Ezz took her.
Rahma prevents her mother from visiting Maha. Omar tries to tell Amal about his feelings. Dina decides to start over with Ahmed. Rahma learns that Ezz is keeping Engy in El Warraq.
Rahma informs Maha of their mother's death. Engy escapes her kidnappers. The police search the houses of everyone who visited Engy in prison, starting with Rahma.
Engy is recaptured. When Ezz tells her that Rahma is the one behind her kidnapping, Engy reflects on how Rahma was her co-conspirator. It's revealed that Rahma was planning to kill Engy and make it appear as a fight between Hesham's wives.
Ahmed tries to get Samer to reveal why Dina was called in for questioning. Dina tries to befriend Rania. Rahma offers to marry Ezz if he gives her Engy. Ezz rebuffs Rahma and reveals that he has recorded all their phone calls.
Ezz discovers that one of his men is working for Rahma. Amal and Omar confess their feelings for each other. Rahma searches Galal's room. Ahmed tries to find Galal's recordings of his patients' sessions.
Amal confronts Rahma about her search of Galal's room. Rahma is suspicious of Mariam when she finds out about her visiting Maha in the psychiatric facility. Engy is released.
Mariam asks Samer for a divorce. Ahmed listens to the record of Dina's session with Galal. Amal learns that Omar was not her brother's patient like he claimed. Rahma lures Engy to Rania's house and poisons her.
Hesham tries to find Engy after he learns of her and Rania's fight. Ahmed decides to kill Dina, but his mother takes the gun from him. Rania and Hesham are arrested.
It's revealed that Engy is still alive. Rahma enlists Omar's help to get the recording of Maha's session. The police investigate both Rania and Hisham.
Omar makes a copy of the CD before giving it to Rahma. Omar confesses everything to Amal when she threatens to report him to the police. Rahma is arrested when Rania tells the police that she had a key to her apartment.
Rahma denies her involvement in the attempt on Engy's life. Ezz hires her a crooked lawyer who gets the key witness to change his testimony to frame Rania. Amal and Mariam listen to Maha's CD. Maha's psychiatrist changes her medication.
Ahmed reveals Dina's affair to her parents and forces her to give up their son's custody. Engy asks Hesham for a divorce. Omar is arrested. Maha stabs Rahma. Ezz visits Rahma in the hospital and strangles her.
