In order to protect her from the sea witch, Ariel does not allow her daughter into the ocean, but when she turns 12, she escapes to an undersea adventure. Ariel must go and find her missing daughter, and face Ursula's crazy sister, Morgana who wants to control the entire ocean.
Devastated by his wife's death, King Triton bans music from his kingdom, a decree that gets challenged by his daughter Ariel whose passion for music makes her unable to accept her father's decision. Ariel decides to go on a daring journey to bring music back to her kingdom.
