Sara escapes from her father Gamal in Emirates to Beirut. Gamal asks Layla to quickly return to work on his satellite channel, while the Brotherhood demonstrations flare up in Egypt and the war breaks out in Syria.
Sara meets Ismail in Beirut and is shocked by his sister's death in the Syrian events. Gamal remembers the civil war in Syria and how he met Ruba, Sara's mother.
Sara is hesitant to go with Ismail to Syria. Dr. Sameh tells Gamal that the woman he saw is Sarah, whom he loved thirty years ago in Beirut during the massacres of Sabra and Shatila, and that she has leukemia.
Sarah blames Gamal of leaving her many years ago and he justifies that he did a scoop to save innocent lives. Gamal's daughter travels to Syria with Ismail. Abu Rabiaa prepares his soldiers to go to Abu Rashid.
Sara's mother is worried about her and asks Gamal to look for her. Abu Rabiaa meets Abu Rashid in preparation for the American attack.
Gad threatens to divorce Layla and prevents her from seeing their son Adam. Gamal is warned to get fired if he doesn't develop the channel's reports. Ruba arrives in Beirut to look for her daughter.
Sara wants to make a report in Syria and Ismail convinces Ziad to approve. Abu Rashid monitors the transferring and hiding of Syria's antiquities by Ziad and his men. Gamal's mother asks him to reconcile with his brother.
Ruba tells Gamal that Sara is in danger. Sara continues filming the artifacts. Layla requests to postpone returning to work for another month.
Abu Rabiaa asks one of his men to follow Ziad and his men and find out where they are hiding the artifacts. Gamal's driver brings him all the information about Sarah.
Gamal meets his old love Sarah and she tries to run away. Ziad assures Sara that he's merely collecting the statues to preserve the Syrian heritage, while their movement is monitored by Abu Rabiaa's men and a clash occurs between them on the one hand, and Ziad and his men on the other.
Abu Rabiaa's men kill Ziad's men, but the latter manages to escape. Sara is captured. Abu Rabiaa sends Sara's picture to Gamal in preparation for a ransom. The doctor saves Gamal's life after he collapses.
Abu Rabiaa sends one of his men to Beirut to negotiate with Gamal about Sara's ransom. Ismail finds Ziad who's injured and they think of a way to save Sara and the artifacts.
Ismail insists on making an attempt to rescue Sara while Ziad continues to bleed and his condition deteriorates. Sarah visits Gamal in the hospital. Ruba approaches the Syrian border with Abu Thaer.
The channel owner appoints a new head for the channel and Gamal is surprised by the decision. The men of Abu Rabiaa rig the artifacts warehouse with explosives and they take Sara while Ismail follows them.
Jamal travels to Beirut, accompanied by his driver, Syed. Ziad turns himself in to the Syrian regime forces and pretends to be a prisoner. A clash takes place between the men of Abu Rabiaa and the Syrian army. Ismail finds out where Sara is.
Ismail tries to rescue Sara from the warehouse. Gamal tells Ruba about Sara's kidnapping. Abu Rabiaa asks Gamal to make an interview with him in exchange for the release of his daughter, and he agrees and prepares to travel.
Abu Rabiaa is planning once again to attack the regime forces. Gamal prepares camera equipment and staff to travel to Syria.
Abu Rabiaa's men are able to open the warehouse door and they take Sara out along with Ismail. Gamal asks Layla to help him to rescue Sara. Ziad escapes from the hospital and Ismail is tortured to reveal why he helped them.
Ismail confesses that he followed the group and watched them hide Sara. Layla travels with Gamal to meet Abu Rabiaa. The group decides to execute Ismail and they threaten Sara to be whipped because she is an infidel.
Gamal refuses to do the television interview with Abu Rabiaa unless he meets his daughter. Gad sees Layla in Beirut and accuses her of betrayal and she tells him about Sara's kidnapping.
Abu Rabiaa asks his men to move Sara to his headquarters. The Investigation of Ziad and his former boss continues. At the moment of Ismail's execution, the Syrian forces attack them, and Ismail escapes. Gad plans to sell Syria's antiquities to a foreign entity.
Gad lets Layla decide if she wants to travel to Syria. Gad receives a death threat from the entity that wants to buy Syrian antiquities through him.
Ziad is still being tortured by the army who wants to know who does he work for. Gamal and Layla head to Abu Rabiaa's headquarters and he finds out that there is a traitor among his men.
Brigadier Ghassan dies from torture, and Ziad's torture stops. Gad tries to reach Abu Samer. Gamal meets his daughter who is still under shock.
Gamal meets Abu Rabiaa and they remember when they were together in Afghanistan and how Abu Rabiaa saved his life. Ziad is taken to Gad's headquarters in a critical condition and he tells Gad that he has the film.
Ziad tells Gad about the location of the footage of the antiquities and that there is a copy of it on a website. Gad kills Ziad. Abu Samer moves the antiquities into a large truck. Ismail finds out the location of the extremist groups in the mountains.
Abu Rabiaa's men clash with the men of Abu Rashid, and dozens of men are killed. Ismail is still searching for Sara. Abu Samer bribes the ambush officers to cross with the antiquities truck. The buyer plans with his partners on how to sell the antiquities abroad at the highest price.
Ruba is worried about Sara and Gamal and decides to go to the Syrian border. Gamal and Layla arrive in Beirut and they prepare to go to Dubai to air the TV interview so that Sara can be released. Sara hits the injured guard and runs away.
The guard brings Sara back to the warehouse. Layla decides to broadcast the TV interview on her responsibility. Gad kills Abu Samer to take over the antiquities truck. Ismail calls Gamal and knows that Sara is still alive.
Layla gives the TV interview tape to the antiquities gang after they kidnap her son. Gamal goes to rescue Sara. Sara makes a film about her suffering in Syria. Gad hands over the tape to Abu Rashid, and Sara returns to Beirut.
