Mark Landis is perhaps the most prolific art forger the U.S have ever seen, precisely imitating works from Matisse to Picasso, while never asking for money. After thirty years of conning the art industry, Landis is discovered by Matthew Leinenger, a registrar from Cincinnati, who has dedicated years to tracking Landis and trying to know his real motivations behind his act. But Landis' motivations are far more layered that simple deception, as being a diagnosed schizophrenic, it's not sure if he even knows that he is being deceptive at all.
