The Sheikh has two daughters, one of whom wants to marry Hamid, who comes to visit her father, while the other is called El Ghalia. Laila discovers that her husband's father is not his actual father and that his real father is a rich man who owns a lot of lands.
As Hamid decides to live in the tribe, he tries to get close to Ruqaya and Ghalia who both admire him. As the Sheikh shows Hamid the lands that he owns, his wife does not know his whereabouts, while his mother Nafisa goes to check on his son.
As Ayoub goes with his parents and sister to ask for Ghalia's hand, she refuses and her father hits her and insists that she marries him. As Hamid meets with two men from the tribe, he tries to find out all the information from them about the tribe.
As Ayoub and his father wonder why Hamid wants to buy all the lands at a price that is higher than their actual price, the Sheikh helps him out. Ghalia is determined not to marry Ayoub because she loves Hamid.
The Sheikh marries a woman after he divorces her from her husband and sells her land to Hamid. As Ruqaya becomes pregnant by Hamid, he refuses to marry her and her nanny tries to abort her. Ghalia stands with Ayoub to prevent the people of the tribe from selling their lands.
As Ruqaya goes with the nanny to have an abortion, she dies; the police interrogates the nanny to find out the cause of death. Ghalia, her father, and the nanny grieve Ruqaya's death.
Ghalia kills Hamid with a sickle and confesses to the court. Nafisa goes to the Sheikh to claim her right to her husband’s, El Araby, lands. Ghalia learns that Hamid is her brother and that she is the daughter of El Araby and not the Sheikh.
Ghalia is sentenced to 20 years in prison. As for the nanny, Haniyeh, she commits suicide. The father of Hamid's wife goes to the Sheikh to demand Hamid's right to the lands because he left a son who has the right to his father's inheritance, but he refuses.
As it's revealed that Hamid did not die, he goes to his mother who helps him until he recovers. Hamid meets his friend and tells him how he escaped from Ghalia. As Ayoub assigns the tribe's lawyer to defend Ghalia, she asks him to search for Hamid's body.
As El Ghalia gets out of prison, she learns that Hamid is not her brother and that Nafisa was only lying to seize the land. Hamid asks his mother to return to his wife. Ghalia is hiding in Ayoub's house.
As Ghalia disguises herself and meets Laila's father, she tries to make a deal with him and take any information about Hamid from him. Hamid threatens his father-in-law that he will expose him if he gets caught. Ayoub extends a helping hand to Ghalia.
Laila quarrels with Hamid because of the plan he made with her father; as the latter tells Ghalia that he loves her, she tries to exploit this until she knows the truth. Ayoub is angry with Ghalia and feels jealous. The Sheikh wants to find a solution so that he does not give the land to Hamid.
