After her husband's death, Amina goes to the house of her milk sister, the journalist Iglal, and asks her husband Mohamed to find her a job and an apartment, but they insist that she stay close to them. Amina begins to look after Iglal's kids and they become attached to her, while Iglal begins to realize that her preoccupation with her work and her neglect of her kids has distanced her from them.
