In Al-Dab'a neighborhood, Abu Issam is still burdened by the problems of the neighborhood’s people and fights with Abu Zafer over leadership. The police chief incites Abu Zafer to drive Abu Issam out of the neighborhood, while an unknown woman leaves her infant son at Abu Issam's door.

Abu Issam searches for the baby's family to no avail. Abu Issam, with the help of Abu Hazem and Abu Jassim, tries to provide food supplies to the people of the neighborhood, while the youth of the neighborhood arrest the food thieves, but Abu Issam pardons them because of their hunger.

Abu Issam is still hiding the baby from the people of the neighborhood, while Mo'taz refuses to let Sarah raise the baby. Abu Issam talks to party leaders about people's issues. Dalal works in Julie's law firm. Abu Zafer refuses to meet with Abu Issam to discuss their disputes.

The police torture Adham and cut out his tongue, and he is admitted to the hospital. The lack of bread causes a conflict between the people of the neighborhood, while Abu Issam presents an offer to the judge to gain custody of the child. Fawzia discovers the presence of the baby in Abu Issam’s house.

The nurse gives Widad a letter from Adham to Mo'taz, so Mo'taz decides to smuggle Adham out of the hospital. The judge rules that the child should remain in Abu Issam’s house until investigations are done, so Abu Jawdat informs the people that Abu Issam is taking in a foundling.

Julie threatens Abu Jawdat for violating the law and revealing the child’s secret. Abu Zafer quarrels with Al-Nems for saying that Aisha was one of Abu Issam’s women. Zafer asks Julie about Jaoud’s share of the inheritance.

Abu Zafer locks his son in the house as he wants to sue him for the inheritance. As Sarah suspects him of cheating, Mo'taz tells her Adham's secret. Abu Hazem marries Umm Hatem. Safa hides with Abu Hazem after killing the French to avenge her parents. Abu Issam raises the child, who is named Shawkat.

Issam works as a cinema employee, and Julie volunteers to defend Laban for killing Aisha. Mo'taz uses Sarah to deliver his messages to Adham in the hospital. Faiza quarrels with Issam for giving up the house to Hoda and Lotfiya, and Zafer tells his father that he went to Julie to get closer to Dalal.

Abu Zafer rejects Zafer's marriage to Dalal, and it becomes clear that Fawzia is pregnant. It turns out that the baby's mother is Rasmiya, Adham's wife, so she visits Adham in the hospital. Jaoud marries Salma, and Mo'taz agrees with Abu Karam and Bashir to get Adham out.

Umm Issam tells everyone the baby has been registered as hers, so the neighborhood avoids her. Abu Faiza quarrels with Issam because he deprives her of her share in the house. The police suspect Mo'taz's relationship with Adham. Rasmiya works in Abu Issam's home to raise her son.

Issam hits Zafer for seeing a picture of Dalal with him, so Abu Zafer apologizes to Abu Issam. A love story arises between Selim and Rehana, and Zafer is killed with Mo'taz’s dagger.

Mo'taz is arrested, but he denies killing Zafer. Sadness spreads over the houses of Abu Issam and Abu Zafer, and Julie undertakes Mo'taz’s defense.

Mo'taz is transferred from the police station, and John asks Abu Issam to convey news of the parties in exchange for Mo'taz’s release, but he rejects his offer. John tortures Mo'taz to confess to killing Zafer. Abu Zafer falls ill after Zafer's murder, writes his will, and delivers it to Ferial.

John continues to torture Mo'taz, while Al-Nems and Abu Al-Hakam impersonate police officers, steal goods, and distribute them to the needy. Adham's health condition worsens, so they amputate his leg, and Abu Zafer dies after his illness becomes severe.

Adham's no longer under guard, and news bout him is published in the newspaper. Abu Issam is interrogated to obtain information about Adham's attack on the police barracks and his kidnapping of the soldiers in exchange for pardoning Mo'taz, but Abu Issam rejects their offer.

Nizar meets his cousin Safa at Abu Hazem's house, and Selim returns his father, Sa'eid, home.

Abu Jawdat is assigned the task of arresting Safa, dead or alive, and Ferial assigns Sa'eid to undertake Abu Zafer’s work. The Ministry of Interior issues an amnesty law, and Sa'eid decides to marry Nimah.

Mo'taz's trial is postponed, and Al-Nems falls in love with Farha. Adham's health condition deteriorates, and John asks Sarah to tell him the location of an item that Adham stole from them in exchange for Mo'taz's release.

Sarah informs Julie of John's offer to her, so she advises her to reject his offer. The French police search for Safa in Abu Hazem's house, but she escapes. It is revealed that Adham decided to kill Rasmiya since a Frenchman kidnapped her, so she told his family she had given up her son.

The political amnesty law is issued but does not include Mo'taz or Safa. Sa'eid marries Nimah, and Abu Issam discovers that Shawkat is the son of Rasmiya and Adham.

Abu Issam informs Rasmiya of his knowledge of her marriage to Adham, and Al-Nems commits suicide after Farha marries another man. It turns out that Abu Hazem has acted as a guarantor for one of his friends, so he now owes a large sum.

Al-Nems regains consciousness when they bury him, but he loses his memory. Mo'taz is sentenced to death, while Laban is pardoned.

Laban is released after John agrees with him to report the news of the neighborhood, so he tells Abu Issam, and the elders of the neighborhood decide to give him a chance. General Security threatens Nizar to hand over Safa. Julie tells Abu Issam that she suspects that Sam'u is the one who killed Zafer.

Sa'eid buys himself a store, Al-Nems's grandmother comes to help him remember, and Niazi proposes to Dalal.

The French police set up a gallow in the middle of the neighborhood to execute Mo'taz. The people of the neighborhood revolt and burn it. Abu Issam, with the help of Niazi, proves that Sam'u killed Zafer. So Sam'u is arrested, and a decision is issued to release Mo'taz.

Mo'taz is released, and it becomes clear that Adham and Mo'taz killed French officers and stole the golden Syrian statue from them, and Mo'taz hid the statue with Sarah. Niazi and Azmi kidnap Al-Nems and his grandmother, and Al-Nems regains his memory.

Dalal discovers that Niazi has forged the charity’s papers, while Niazi asks Al-Nems to steal antiquities from the neighborhood’s homes. Laban begins conveying news of the neighborhood to the French police. Abu Issam convinces Akram that his sister Rasmiya did nothing wrong.

Al-Nems helps catch Niazi and Azmi red-handed stealing antiquities, and Niazi and Safa are able to escape from the neighborhood. John finds Laban hanged in his house. It turns out that Nimah is pregnant, and John arrests Abu Hazem and tortures him to reveal Safa’s whereabouts.

Abu Hazem is found murdered in front of the neighborhood's gate, while Adham's condition became hopeless. Sa'eid begins embezzling Abu Zafer's money, and the disputes between Ferial and Sou'ad increase.

The marriage of Rasmiya and Adham is registered in court, and Adham’s health condition deteriorates again. Al-Nems marries Fawzia’s sister, Sukariya, and Abu Issam hides the golden statue in his house. Mo'taz kills the French commander, and Adham dies.
