A businessman accuses the people of a small town of robbing him, but Saleh Al-Qenawi proves that it was Hitler who did it. Saleh's wife dies from cancer, and his son Zain is raised by his stepmother.
Zain joins the Police Academy while his cousin Mansour joins the Military Academy. Hitler forcibly seizes a portion of land whose rightful owner goes to Saleh for help. Saleh arranges a meeting with Hitler.
Zain and Mossad Hitler have verbal sparring. Mossad tries to set Zain up by putting some cannabis in his bag.
As luck would have it, Zain doesn't take the fall for the cannabis, but he learns that Mossad is behind it. Zain defends Fairouz from street harassment. Hitler has Saleh and his brother killed.
In the wake of his father's death, Zain is declared as the honorary customary judge of his town. Hitler brings his second wife home and speaks of his hopes for a new son, much to Mossad's displeasure. Two years later, Zain proposes to Fairouz who has to consider the prospect of living in Qena.
Fairouz and Zain get married and take up residence in Qena. Zain arrests a thief.
After 3 days of work, a pregnant woman pleads with Zain for a hearing but he puts her off out of sheer exhaustion. Hitler and Mossad prepare for an illegal archaeological dig. Zain investigates a shooting whose victim is the pregnant woman.
The shooting victim dies but not before delivering a son. Driven by guilt, Zain decides to raise the child since he can't have kids. It's revealed that Mossad is the one who killed the woman to silence her. Zain goes after Sayed El-Sabaa.
Zain arrests Sayed El-Sabaa. Fairouz tries to get Zain to send the baby, little Saleh, to an orphanage, but he refuses. Hitler burns the land of those who refused to sell him their land.
Zain discovers that the murdered woman used to work for Hitler and confronts him and Mossad. Fairouz's mother forces her to ask for a divorce. Zain's stepmother, Salha, discovers that her son Taha is on drugs. Laila rejects a proposal.
Hitler buys the land he burned. Zain confronts Taha who promises to stop doing drugs. Zain investigates the case of the murdered woman.
A terrorist group blows up the police department and Zain discovers that it was his schoolmate Radwan who did it. He kills Radwan before he manages to blow up his own house. Fairouz receives a photo of Zain and the murdered woman. Hitler urges his son to leave the country.
When Zain learns about Mossad's escape, a servant leads him to Mossad's hiding place and he arrests him. Taha tells Laila about his feelings for her.
Mossad is released due to lack of evidence. Zain's sister informs Fairouz that she is being watched. Hitler plans his revenge on Zain.
Nadia discovers the identity of the man watching her when he asks for her hand in marriage. Zain is set up by Hitler and accused of murder.
After being accused of killing a man, a media storm sees Zain losing his place as a customary judge. Fairouz's sister-in-law learns of her husband's cheating.
Alia gets in a car accident and is in a coma. Zain refuses to postpone his sister's wedding. Hitler's men dig up archaeological treasures from his land, but Zain foils their plans and has them arrested. Hitler swears revenge.
Alia's husband blames his girlfriend for her accident after the doctors amputate her legs. Hitler tries to have Zain killed, but his sister's new husband is shot instead. The shooter confesses to Zain but is killed by Hitler to prevent an official testimony.
Zain accuses Hitler of trying to kill him and framing him. Hitler's wife tries to seduce Mossad who rejects her. Fairouz learns that she is barren. Salha reveals that she knows that Hitler killed Saleh and warns him off.
Fairouz suspects that little Saleh is Zain's, and leaves the house. Hitler can't pay his fellow dealers.
Salha tries to reconcile Zain and Fairouz. Zain learns that his friend Ziad is working with Hitler and has him arrested. Mossad's mother warns him about Dina.
Zain finds conclusive evidence of Mossad's guilt. Hitler tries to smuggle him out but he is found by Zain. Taha proposes to Laila's sister, Safia.
Hitler swears revenge after his son is accused of homicide. Zain requests a DNA test to confirm if Mossad is the little Saleh's father. Asser and Alia reconcile.
Fairouz's sister, Hend, fights with her father after giving up her daughter's custody. Hitler discovers that his wife tried to seduce his son and buries her alive.
Taha marries Safia. Zain tries to reconcile with Fairouz but finds her with a former flame; they divorce.
Zain marries his cousin Laila, while his brother Taha faces trouble in his marriage to Safia. Little Saleh disappears, and despite their ardent efforts, no one can find him.
Laila's brother, Mansour, dies in a terrorist attack. Hitler gets a man to take the fall for Mossad's crime.
At Mossad's trial, a defense witness defects and confirms that Mossad is guilty. He gets the death sentence. Hitler informs Zain that he is the one who killed his father and Zain kills him. Fairouz gives Zain an ultimatum: her or Laila.
Zain discovers the truth: it was his brother Taha who fathered little Saleh and killed his mother when she threatened to tell Zain about her pregnancy.
Zain reveals the truth to the attorney general and arrests Taha who blames Zain for his crimes. Fairouz reconciles with Zain as Taha gets the death sentence.
