In the wake of the devastating attack on Bon Temps, Sookie faces accusations that she is to blame for what happened. A local learns of Sam's secret and incites the angry townspeople.

Vince continues to fan the flames of rage in the town. Lettie Mae goes on a downward spiral in an attempt to hold onto Tara's ghost. Sookie and her friends try to discern what fate awaits Bon Temps through a visit to a neighboring town.

Pam tries to offer Eric hope in the wake of his infection. Sookie devises a daring plan to lure in the H-Vamps, but the tables quickly turn as the H-Vamps use Holly as bait.

Eric's past comes to light. Sookie tries to use Holly to locate the rest of the hostages, but a case of bad timing puts everything at risk.
