Imam saves both Fatheya and Abaza and murders the English soldier, but he is shocked to learn that the boy they're looking for is the same boy he murdered himself. Fatheya learns that her brother is in the death toll.
Darwish tracks down Fatheya to learn where she goes, and she quarrels with him. Ibrahim and other men are preparing to avenge Mohammed's death and murder General Allenby.
Ihsan's father goes to meet the High Commissioner to get the promised job as a minister. Saleh and Ibrahim are preparing to take revenge on the English soldiers. Ehsan murders one of the soldiers.
Darwish banishes Abaza from the neighborhood and threatens to kill him if he ever sees him around; Ibrahim takes Abaza in. A sparkle of love is ignited between Ehsan and Qamar.
Imam is grief-stricken that he actually passes away. Ehsan's father captures Qamar and interrogates her to get the names of the participants in the secret organization.
Abaza finds an apartment and asks Fatheya to marry him and move out together. Ehsan is planning to get revenge against the English soldiers, and he manages to get a sum of money from his father.
Ehsan starts to put his plan into action, and it initially seems to work, but his plan is frustrated as he gets arrested.
Ehsan is accused of treachery, and Abd El-Hameed fails to get the names of Ehsan's colleagues. On the pubic level, Saad Zaghloul returns from exile.
Abd El-Hameed is incessantly trying to get the names of other people in the anti-English secret organization. Ehsan gets a bullet and he is severely injured. Darwish and Abaza are arrested.
Ehsan's health improves and he and Fatheya go to the authorized registrar to get married. Darwish disowns his son and regards him as a traitor.
Fatheya learns that Ehsan is Abd El-Hameed's son and she changes her mind regarding their marriage, but Ehsan tries to convince her to let bygones be bygones. Ehsan refuses to take part in an operation fearing it might negatively affect his father.
The organization decides to carry out the operation and seek Fatheya's help. Abd El-Hameed learns about their plan and tries to frustrate it. Fatheya and Saleh are arrested, and Abd El-Hameed informs them that he works against the British.
Ehsan is banished to Paris where he gets married. When he returns, he learns that Fatheya had a baby and called her Ehsan. The neighborhood is now acquainted with Fatheya's heroic acts against the English colonizer.
