Warda works as a secretary at a mall. She refuses to wed the elderly Abu Riad due to the age difference between them.

When Warda is assaulted, she fights off her attacker and beats him. Tensions rise between Gaber and Mahmoud.

Kholoud finds money and gold that belong to her husband. Gaber tries to go to France. It's revealed that Warda has a side job where she prepares the dead for burial.

During a fight between Umm Abdu (Abdu's mother) and her husband, it's revealed that her father cut off ties with her after her marriage. Gaber is upset that his brother Mahmoud is flirting with Warda.

Rabab's uncle sees her with Bassam. When he tells her father, the father tries to kill her, but Rabab denies everything.

Rabab is tormented by guilt in the wake of her uncle's death. Gevara refuses to forgive his father after the latter steals his money.

Umm Abdu asks her husband for a divorce. Rabab continues to deny her relationship with Bassam. Ehab and Kholoud quarrel.

When Warda confirms that Mahmoud doesn't love her, she agrees to wed Abu Riad. Umm Abdu asks Ehab to forgive Rabab.

Gevara's friend Shady passes away. Warda changes her mind about marrying Abu Riad. When Mahmoud loses the draft for his novel, his wife Nahla rebukes him.

When Abu Riad asks Warda to leave the house, Entesal intervenes and decides to wed Abu Riad to help Warda. Sa'eid tells Kholoud that Ehab killed her ex-husband.

After Nahla gets in an accident, Mahmoud grows jealous when he witnesses how her friend stood by her side. Kholoud decides to take revenge on Ehab.

Mahmoud unsuccessfully tries to obtain his passport. The relationship between Abu Abdu (Abdu's father) and his wife continue to deteriorate.

True to her word, Umm Abdu tries to commit suicide, but she is saved. Warda looks after a child who hid in her room.

Abu Abdu forbids his wife and daughter from going out. Warda tries to help the young boy after his health starts going downhill.

When Gevara breaks his leg during a fight with his father, he refuses his father's attempt to help. Warda is distressed by Mahmoud's flip-flopping attitude with her.

Nahla asks Mahmoud for a divorce. Abu Laila (Laila's father) cares for his son. Umm Abdu sets out to annoy her husband to force him to leave her.

Gaber gets close to Warda after Mahmoud abandons her. Abu Laila offers Gevara a job with Abu Rabi'e (Rabi'e's father)

Nahla's departure leaves Mahmoud reeling. Gevara starts working with Abu Rabi'e and prepares to travel abroad. Abu Abdu acquiesces to pressure from his wife and separates from her.

When Warda informs Gaber that she had a physical relationship with his brother Mahmoud, the two end up having a big fight.

Mahmoud denies that he slept with Warda. When Gaber confirms that he is telling the truth, he confesses his love to Warda. Abu Abdu puts pressure on his wife.

Warda enlists Abu Laila's help to get Mazen enrolled in school. Gaber asks Warda to forgive him.

Nahla informs Mahmoud that Gaber reported them to the police because of his disagreement with the revolutionaries. Mahmoud decides to help Mazen with his studies.

When Mahmoud confirms that Gaber is the one who reported the revolutionaries to the police, he leaves the house. Abu Laila visits his ex-wife, Hala, who was in an accident that left her in a bad condition.

It's revealed that Gevara does not know that his mother is alive. Abu Laila is afraid to tell him the truth, since her financial status would allow Gevara to travel abroad.

When Gevara learns that Rashid has the Swiss nationality, he offers for Rashid to work with him in exchange for helping with a murder.

When Mazen's uncle learns of where he is, he takes him with him to Germany. Gaber and Mahmoud have a fight in Warda's room, leading to the room being burned down. Mahmoud falls ill and suffers from kidney failure.

Gaber tries to find an organization to pay for the cost of Mahmoud's dialysis. Bassam asks Abu Abdu for Rabab's hand in marriage. When Abu Abdu refuses, Rabab runs away with Bassam.

After Tamam rapes Kholoud, she asks him to kill Ehab. As Gamal runs away from his family, he stabs Bassam who gets rushed to the hospital.

After she marries Bassam, Rabab asks her father for forgiveness. Tamam kills Kholoud and Ehab. Abu Abdu decides to travel to bring Gamal back after the latter joins a terrorist organization. Abu Laila tells his son that his mother is alive.

When Bassam finds Ehab's money, he uses it to travel with Rabab. Gevara's stepfather helps him to leave the country. Mahmoud kills himself. Warda and Gaber leave for France.
