Haresh and his brother Waresh decide to travel and return to their country after they pass their exams. Narges resents her older brother's attempt to persuade her to marry one of the town's wealthy men, as he complains to their sister Farida that Narges still loves Haresh.
Haresh and Waresh arrive in town and are received by Ghanem. Haresh asks him to inform Narges of his return, while Waresh is arrested after fighting with a young man.
As Ghanem is being questioned bout Haresh and Waresh, Khatun intercedes with Al-Mukhtar for their release. Abu Samra pays bail for the release of Al-Za'eim Masraf.
After Al-Mukhtar gets Haresh and Waresh out of jail and they return to their home, he asks Ibrahim to watch them.
Haresh asks his uncle to hand him over his father's store to open it, and he's surprised that the police watch him all the time. Ghanem asks Haresh to use the donkey that he owns. Al-Mukhtar captures Waresh again.
Narges asks Khatun to help her meet Haresh, while Waresh catches Amany's eye. Waresh surprises his brother by raising chickens at home to save expenses.
As Waresh quarrels with his sister Warda over her relationship with Adel, he cuts her hair as punishment. Al-Mukhtar asks his sisters Narges and Farida to help him get closer to Khatun. As a new disease spreads in town, the doctor asks the Mayor to declare a state of emergency.
Haresh asks Adel to intercede with his father to release Abbas from prison. Haresh tells Warda that Abu Adel (Adel's father) has rejected the idea of her marrying his son.
Waresh decides to become a poet and tells the library worker Mahmoud about it. The town's doctor insists on informing the people of the rampant infection among them. Masraf tells Abu Samra that he has the cure and he will deliver it to the Mayor.
Narges asks Haresh to help the children infected with the disease. When Ibrahim arrests Abbas on charges of causing the infection by selling some food, Masraf and Abu Samra defend him and hit the soldiers. Waresh conducts experiments to discover a quick cure.
Haresh defends Abbas and tells everyone that he didn't cause an outbreak. Masraf gives the medicine to the town’s doctor, and the Mayor decides to reward him. Adel tries again to convince his father to agree to his marriage to Warda.
Haresh threatens to expose Ibrahim to Farida and tell her of his marriage if he doesn't treat Abbas well.
Haresh and Waresh eavesdrop on Abu Samra’s conversation with the gang members and the distribution of money to them. Ibrahim is forced to accept all of Abbas’s requests so that Haresh wouldn't tell Farida about his marriage.
Waresh tells his brother Haresh about his love for Amany and his desire to marry her. Mahmoud asks Waresh to marry his sister Warda.
Farida tries to persuade Narges to marry Masraf after he was appointed as an advisor to Al-Mukhtar. Waresh is upset that Haresh does not approve of Warda's marriage to Mahmoud.
Haresh is surprised by Ghanem's decision not to use the donkey in transportation so as not to stress it. Masraf offers for Haresh to work with him. Farida tries to persuade Al-Mukhtar of the marriage. As someone tries to attack Al-Mukhtar, Masraf saves him.
Narges tries to find out the woman Al-Mukhtar loves. In prison, Mut'eb persuades Abbas to work with him. Ibrahim helps Haresh meet Narges, as Haresh and his brother Waresh get disguised as two women.
As Al-Mukhtar gets sick, Farida asks Masraf to take over his duties. Al-Mukhtar tells Khatun of his love. Ghanem tells Waresh that he's traveling to visit his brother Fahim.
As Ghanem disappears from town and everyone looks for him, his twin brother Fahim returns. Masraf asks Ibrahim to hire Abu Samra with him at the police station.
After Farida discovers Ibrahim's marriage to another woman, she leaves the house and complains to her brother, Al-Mukhtar. Ibrahim submits his resignation from working in the police station. Fahim takes over his brother Ghanem's job.
As Masraf plans with his gang to exploit his position in theft and fraud, he tries to convince Al-Mukhtar to sentence Abbas to life imprisonment. Haresh plans to smuggle Abbas out of prison. Waresh and Adel work on the photography project.
Farida tells Narges that she's the reason Ibrahim married another woman because of her control over him. Haresh succeeds in smuggling Abbas out of prison.
Masraf investigates Waresh and Haresh for Abbas's escape. Abu Adel agrees that his son marries Warda, and Farida insists on a divorce.
Adel and Warda get engaged. Masraf asks Abu Samra to help hide Mut'eb after his escape. Farida asks Haresh to help her meet Ibrahim.
Ibrahim agrees to return Farida to his home as long as he maintains authority and control over all matters. Abu Samra tells Masraf that Narges is trying to restore Al-Mukhtar's authority in front of the people and open a charity to help the needy.
Haresh agrees with the town’s youth to bring Masraf down and find out what he's been doing. Masraf tells Abu Samra to search the houses to look for Abbas, who escapes from Fahim's house after the police raid it.
Masraf tries to convince Fahim to work with him. Ibrahim loses his son and keeps looking for him. Waresh tells Amany of his desire to marry her.
Waresh decides to work in the legal field. As Narges asks Al-Mukhtar to release Fahim and all those arrested without a crime, Masraf resents the decision to pardon them. Haresh kidnaps Abu Samra.
Masraf asks Mahmoud to join him in his election campaign and make signs in his name. Eqarab tells Masraf that the big operation is approaching. After Mahmoud discovers that Masraf kidnapped Narges, he goes to inform Al-Mukhtar.
As Haresh gathers everyone to save Narges, Abu Samra and Masraf are arrested and put in prison. Waresh marries Amany. Haresh and Narges get married, as do Adel and Warda.
