Anbar tries to help his friend, Ya'rouf, get a job at school. As Ya'rouf becomes a temporary teacher, his stepmother kicks him out of the house and he moves in with Anbar.

As Ya'rouf starts his new job, Anbar gives him a bill that makes him start to hallucinate weird things. Ya'rouf quarrels with a student and cuts his hair off.

Ya'rouf learns that Safwan's father, the student whose hair he cut off, is nicknamed Al-Dab due to his temperament and cruelty. Ya'rouf tries to escape but Al-Dab pursues him wherever he goes.

Ya'rouf steals his stepmother's car in a bid to go to prison to escape Al-Dab's clutches. When Al-Dab arrives at the police station, Ya'rouf flees. Ya'rouf helps Anbar propose to Gamila.

Al-Dab captures Ya'rouf and chains him up, releasing a lion on him as revenge. Anbar helps Ya'rouf escape, and Ya'rouf decides to travel.

Ya'rouf leaves the city and meets Mourad on the bus. Ya'rouf takes a job as a driver but on his first day of work, he leaves with the car without informing his employers.

As Ya'rouf looks for a job, Abdullah brings him a job with a lady who refuses to hire him because he is Emirati. Ya'rouf disguises himself as a Syrian teacher to get the job.

Ya'rouf's neighbor, Bahia, discovers that he has been lying to Mrs. Nadia. Bahia's brother, Attia asks her to keep the secret and promises to help Ya'rouf.

Seyiah helps Ya'rouf get a job at a hotel. Ya'rouf discovers that Mourad and Seyiah like Bahia.

Nadia kicks Ya'rouf out when she discovers the truth. Ya'rouf asks the hotel manager to allow him to stay at the hotel. Anbar and Ya'rouf's son come to visit.

When Ya'rouf gets fired, he asks Anbar to take his son back to his city. Seyiah tries to convince Nadia to allow Ya'rouf to come back and she stipulates that he must wed quickly. Ya'rouf asks Attia for Bahia's hand but Attia refuses.

Ya'rouf gets a job at a new school. When he has a fight with one of his colleagues on his first day, he gets transferred to the kindergarten. But the school principal grows wroth with him when he teaches the children to sing and dance.

Al-Dab beats Anbar and Ya'rouf's son, and forces the latter to give up his father's location. Ya'rouf decides to leave the city and go elsewhere.

Ya'rouf meets Ibrahim who hosts him at his house and helps him get a job. Al-Dab finds Ya'rouf but he manages to escape again.

Ya'rouf flees to a new city after Al-Dab finds him along with his stepmother. Isma'eil hosts Ya'rouf.

Ya'rouf's stepmother gets lost and he keeps looking for her until he finds her. Isma'eil helps Ya'rouf get a job. Anbar is shocked when he learns that his fiancée, Gamila wants to be with Ya'rouf.

Ya'rouf takes a job at a facility for people with special needs. Isma'eil's daughter helps him.

Ya'rouf starts working with Isma'eil as a fisherman, but he proves incompetent. He gets a job as a maths teacher.

When Anbar beats a student, he is forced to leave the city and stay with Isma'eil. Ya'rouf takes a job as a radio commentator.

Anbar suggests that Ya'rouf sell his stepmother's properties. They discovers that Al-Dab's son has passed away and that they can go back home.

Al-Dab bargains with Gamila to divulge the location of Ya'rouf and Anbar. Gamila informs them that the Al-Dab is still looking for them despite his son's death.

Anbar learns that Mozza owns half a million riyal and that she is Isma'eil's stepdaughter who has been living with Isma'eil since her father's death.

Ya'rouf forces Mozza to pay off Isma'eil's debts. Hassan tells Al-Dab that Ya'rouf is in the school.

Hassan sets Ya'rouf and Anbar up by getting them to go on a cruise. As Al-Dab tries to catch them, they jump into the sea to escape him.

Anbar and Ya'rouf take refuge on a farmhouse. As they enlist Maya's help to stay at the hotel, Al-Dab stays with Isma'eil and convince Kulthum to wed her neighbor Farag.

Farag and Kulthum wed. Al-Dab's brother proposes to Mozza. Gamila visits Anbar at the hotel.

Ya'rouf and Anbar return to Seyiah's house where they stay with Maya and Gamila.

Mourad suggests for either Anbar or Ya'rouf to wed Al-Dab's sister to get him to forgive them. They ask Maya to speak on their behalf.

Maya speaks to Al-Dab about wedding his sister to Ya'rouf. When Al-Dab agrees, Maya asks him to help her find a job at one of the city's hotels.

Ya'rouf weds Al-Dab's sister but Al-Dab refuses to let him see her before he gets her the trousseau. Maya intervenes to convince him.

Ya'rouf meets his bride and buys a kiosk to start a project. Kultum and Farag think about starting a family. Attia and Bahia help Ya'rouf with the expenses.

Ya'rouf starts selling food and Safwan advises him to choose an interesting name to attract people's interest. The name Ya'rouf chooses ends up getting him in trouble with the police, putting an end to his project.

Ya'rouf is surprised when the owners of a sports channel asks him to return to commenting on the matches. Ya'rouf wins a new car.
